I bought the game and haven't used it too much, nor enjoyed it too much either, but I don't think it's a reason to ask for a refund. I believe you'd better consider if it was something you really needed/wanted and learn for next time: investigate more prior to clicking the purchase button and double-think if it's something you really want/need
Ridiculous to even think of a refund. You should have done your homework, watched videos or asked questions on forums/to the dev. You cant just get a refund because you're not keen on the game, that makes a whole mockery of it. Man up ! Its a great game, next time ask 1000 questions before you part with your few dollars then. Ridiculous Looking at your posts you've been playing it a lot, now you want a refund ??
This far in and the question hasn't been asked (I don't think): what is the difference between casual and advanced controls? First I heard the airplanes had gyro control. I have to say-compared to the rest of the series, this feels rushed. Every aspect of the Skygamblers games are documented.
As far as I can tell, it makes no difference for tanks/ground vehicles. However, for planes, Advanced is Gyro control while beginner is using the virtual stick.
Firepower/upgrades Ok here's a technical question, rather than the mewling 'help me' messages I've been posting. I'm driving the Type 1, and have upgraded its gun to 51 (I don't know how else to describe this - the number on the left hand side when you look at the tanks' attributes). IF I spend my upgrade points to bump the gun up to the next available level, it says I will gain +2, making the gun 53. Does that mean that my tank would now be equal, in terms of firepower, to an un-upgraded T34, which has 53 next to its gun? Or have I just upgraded to *MY* tank's version of 53, which is weaker than other, stronger tanks' 53. In other words, will my Type 1 always have less firepower than the other tanks that have greater firepower - and all I can do is upgrade my weak gun to its maximum - or can I actually transcend my Type 1's weak gun by upgrading?
The guns all scale at the same rate, I believe. Because of this, any other fully upgraded tank will have more firepower than an equally upgraded Type 1. However, upgrading your gun will allow you to be a lot more powerful than unupgraded tanks.
MP crashes a lot now. Most of the time I got kicked out (lost connection) before end of a game. Pretty frustrating.
One day I was really frustrated with my team mates and I said some coarse language then I got kicked, and my ip seems be banned for a while, which end up pretty much like what you are experiencing----get kicked quite often even I didn't do anything.
@ scary guns - ditto this point...why? You were all high and mighty a few pages back spitting out advice and bragging about how ur always the top player......so what's the deal? Sorry man, it p'd me off a bit to see ur post. Refunds would be viable for customers who bought a game that doesn't play (crashes, bugged to where it can't be played, or if the app description states it supported a certain device but it doesn't). Ever heard of buyer's remorse?
Any news on the next update or new features? Slightly off topic but this game has introduced me to another game called world of tanks for pc.
Question on Sherman Upgrades Technical Question: I just noticed that the final upgrade for the Main Gun of the Sherman doesn't do any stat upgrades, rather just an aesthetic change in the tip of the barrel. Seems not worth the 11,000 points. Any of you guys noticed this as well?
I believe it is a bug. If you never upgrade the main gun you should be able to see there is actually a power up for the last grade. However, when you reach upgrade level 4 then the last upgrade doesn't show any improvement. I installed the last upgrade anyway and I feel the upgrade actually has effect.
Ok, I'm not going to respond to any of your nonsense after this but here goes: what the hell do you mean "the stats of strategy"? That makes no sense. You choose the tank with the statistics you want, you choose the areas to upgrade, then YOU create your strategy. Not the tank. Earlier you stated you want a refund yet you are "one of the best players seen in this game". Try becoming one of the best players in, say Call of Duty, then take it back to Wal-Mart and get a refund. Not going to happen and neither should it happen on this platform. If you don't like the game, delete it. You've obviously played your big five dollars worth. And quit stalking the thread here looking for attention...pathetic.
If a game 'sucks' then simply dont play it, you've got enough gameplay from this game yet you still go on about a refund. If you carry on derailing this thread and crying for attention you may be put in time-out. Its embarassing
Gonna spare everyone the sentiment, and not type what I'm thinking rite now. Don't want to step on anyone's toes. I kno how sensitive TA is.
I'm just going to ignore Scary Guns' senseless complaint... Those visuals look pretty damn impressive!
