It is amazing. Here the grasses and shrubs wave as you drive through them. Trees blow in the wind, and fall down if you crash into them or blast them. Birds and butterflies fly by, chirping and buzzing. Moose, cows and horses walk around. Fish swim in schools in the waters. Blow up walls, buildings, trees. Tanks. As you play, the weather changes from sun to cloudy to rainy on the French and Pacific maps, and also to snowy on the Russian map. The maps are Huge, Epic in scale. You can spend hours and hours exploring each in free roam.

Hi, I'm Andrei (developer's side). Your comparison is close to what we have in mind. Jeeps, planes and boats are part of the single player campaign mode. You can also use any of them in Free roam mode. Not in multiplayer. Different vehicles were implemented mainly for the purpose of testing the technology (wildlife included - it really isn't a big difference in which thing you animate after this...like zombies ...just kidding). Game development started only with tanks, but since it was possible, we added all other elements. There was no time to do a proper balancing for including different vehicles in multiplayer. You know that great passions are born on that battleground. So we kept only tanks there. But those are balanced properly. Ah, and trains...get hit by a train and your tank is out.

The game has controller support. Best one I've experienced. And we have Sky Gamblers: Storm Raiders featured as best shooting game with controller support on another site.
I don't know how to answer this. Single player with many vehicles, multiplayer with tanks only. Both FUN
