Surprisingly well designed and polished. Imagine Battleheart but built less like a battler and more like a traditional RPG. Played about 20 minutes too and I’m hooked. Got a super slick, fast-paced feeling to just about everything you do and (so far) has the whole carrot dangling aspect to it. You just can’t put it down without saying “Okay, just one more battle and I’ll stop”. Worth mentioning that it was an insanely fast download and the game doesn’t seem to use up any battery. I hope I’m not just imagining things with the latter. Highly recommended...it’s the perfect lite companion to Battle Chasers right now. I can’t put it down...played two hours on first play. Playing on hard, which is not insane too hard or anything and loving it. This is my new part timer to Langrisser. The ONLY gripe I may have is...seemingly there is no armor/weapon loot progression =\ Quoad Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2015 1,108 217 63 #10 Quoad, Aug 16, 2019 Having had a Thai takeaway tonight, this will have to go on my “next week” list. Are the references to Battleheart more in lines with Battleheart Legacy (which I love) or more to the other two (which I just kinda like)? Just a couple of QOL questions as well guys; 1. How are saves handled? Anytime or checkpoints? 2. Seperate sliders for audio and music? 3. Play offline? 4. Can saves be transferred between devices? Thanks. But I was talking about the combat. When it comes exploration, NPC interaction, and story, it’s much closer to Battleheart Legacy: you have direct control of the characters, you select quests, you choose the order of encounters, etc. stubbieoz likes this. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,715 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #16 squarezero, Aug 19, 2019 So far I’ve encountered 5 classes and they all have different attacks, equipment, and special skills. It's an absolute honour to see it in the hands of so many people. Yes Dan and I (Toby) are are from IronMonkey Studios. We founded that company over a decade ago when screens were 128 x 128 pixels in resolution and embraced iPhone when it came out. We have been slaving away over the last few years on this game motivated by wanting to make a game that we would like to play. We steered away from in-app purchases, advertising and pay to play. We just wanted to make a game people could download, play and enjoy. I've been getting feedback via email over the last week and I'm trying to address any issues that arise. We want to provide the best experience we can. Still...REALLY wish there was some sort of armor/weapon loot and progression, but I can even get past that with how entertaining this is. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
