Wow, looks more and more intriguing! I just used up my credit on Lion Pride (loves it) and am probably going to get Civ Revolution, but NEXT up I think is your game! I appreciate the fact that you're on the forums here looking for feedback! Good luck with sales!
Okay i tried the lite long time ago but the reason i didnt get it; 1. i found the aircraft carriers pretty hard and they often slipped past my defenses 2. the touch interface was a liitle unresponsive 3. i also think you need better sounds when the towers attack(just saying if you want to make the greastest td you need good sounds and better graphically attacks)
The game looks really nice and has a lot of potential. Some suggestion might be to make it so you can zoom in on a particular area. Also incorporate open feint or something along those lines so people can compare achievements with friends. Finally, an air strike would be cool, something that attacks all enemies at once.
How about you unlock a special tower after 50 waves? How about you get something like a skill point every 10 waves, which lets you get either +5 lives, some money or something else? How about you can send out some tanks/planes by yourself, that also attacks the enemie's troops? How about a new mode where the enemy also has a base you need to destroy? (He could also build towers and you could send out tanks/planes) How about a new map on the sea where ships attack? Just some ideas
Pinch to zoom is in the game, atleast the lite which I'm playing, which means it should be in the full.. Idea in a couple minutes, playing lite now.
One idea which I'm not sure could be implemented but would be awesome is..If a large heavy armor vehicle came onto the map, maybe once every 25 waves or soemthing like that. The truck will be nearly invincible until it reaches a certain destination(would be best if every time the destination is random) The truck will stop and soldiers on feet will continously keep pouring out off it. The soldiers will run in any direction so if you don't have the right units set up they will get to your base extremely fast. The more waves that go on, the stronger the soldiers get in the truck. First time they appear maybe they will only have a pistol, second time machine gun of some sort, third time machine gun+ grenades, fourth time bazooka or some large ultimate weapon. Sounds good in text but not sure if it's possible but would be cool -Nick
No other game has done this yet, ever. But an entirely new mode. The ability to play as the enemy (if your up to that challenge), by instead upgrading and selecting different armor types and such while you try to get past the AI's towers.
I downloaded the lite version. I like what I've seen so far. My suggestion would be to add a quick tower review button in the game. That way the player can compare towers without having to exit out to the main menu.
I bought this game on release and have enjoyed it, however the difficulty of the game for the beginner stages is too high, and it turned me off. I really wanted to like this game... The other thing that becomes way too much work is swapping medals from one tower to another. That becomes a full time job over planning, and anything else fun. I have to remember where I put that private medal, open and close each tower's interface until it is located, and the go back to the tower that needs it. If you are to do this, and keep every medal where it is appropriate, it takes the fun out of the game. I might suggest as an improvement for the medal swapping chore. When you pause and bring up the medal interface, there will be a listing of all of your towers by row, and 8 columns indicating medals. You can than easily swap from one tower to another while viewing all of your armaments. This part of the game really needs some creativity to keep it fun. As I said, I want to love this game, but the tedium is holding me down. =( Thanks for looking for input. Munkie!
A simple enhancement could be to add a visual indicator of an attack on your base, like a small explosion. I'd like this combined with the ability to then turn off the vibration in the Options menu. I almost always turn that off when given the option. It would be nice to then also show some accumulated damage on your base, like some scarring or smoke, when it is severly damaged...
I also thought that the medals system could be improved a bunch. There needs to be a better way to swap them, and there also needs to be a better way to go through and assign them. I would like to see some kind of way to scroll through them and more easily swap and check if medals can be assigned. Preferrable by type or rank instead of all at once. and Why are the sand bags included in assigning medals? Especially if you have a bunch, then you have to scroll through them all.
In the latest version(V1.7), you can swap towers in the medal interface. Just tap the new buttons in it.
You should be able to set mines, like if you are swamped with enemies for the price of a tower you should be able to put a mine and it would explode when someone hits it and maybe you could be able to put down a bunker wich would Slow them down as they passed over it. Also, obviously, airstrikes and maybe a better medal trade system.
The problem with these defence-type of games that are already in the app store is they don't offer many towers or upgrades. What make these defence games good is a lot available units/towers and good upgrades that are actually worth the value (and best is when the upgrades actually change the unit visually as well). This is a suggestion simply based on what makes a good defence game, if more feedback is needed I'll play the lite version as soon as I have time and get back on here for feedback, even though it seems like the lite version is not up to date with the full version from what I have read on some other posts here. Wouldn't playing the lite version be a little innaccurate then for that matter? It's always niced to see developers talk about great apps like this and actually care about what we have to say. Thanks for the opportunity and letting us know about this application, great work!
I have a suggestion More maps? And or seneries? Oh yeah, I might just review this on my youtube channel! http://youtube(dot)com/user/iP0dsandiPh0nes
