--> Dev Reply Hey Everyone, For all of you that have sent messages to be beta testers, we will get to you here shortly as soon as we organize a plan for that so we can stay focused and have fun during the beta testing. Once again, we really appreciate your interest, and look forward to having you all involved. We very much see this game as our game, all of you and all of us, as it is you, the players that will help shape this game by your comments and requests. Thanks everyone, Have a great day, and enjoy the screen shot right above this post! - Trevor
--> First Beta Build Redribbon, We could put a beta build out right now, as there is certainly enough to test. The controls are done, the menus and GUIs, all the worlds are in place, and all the monsters and NPCs are created, etc... So stay tuned, it will be quite soon, Also --> Madman and Goose - although we have a 2 stick system, the second stick is more for convienience and not really needed. We had not considered a swipe system as we try to keep the fingers to the borders of the game as to not cover up screen space with the finger, that being said, we are open to trying out a swipe. Would you mind describing how you see a swipe working in combination with 1 stick, or what your controls would work like. I will put a prototype together, and we will see how it feels in action on the phone. We could easily make that the first little beta testing job, just a version of the game that lets you switch between two control systems, one standard as we are now and one with a swipe to gather feedback. This would also let you all walk around and see the worlds first hand, which look fantastic. Thanks, Trevor
Really looking forward to the release... The screenshots look great and I must say I look forward to plundering through the maps and making piles of heap out of the bosses. I don't recall but how long do you expect the latest version to complete. I really like long quest games and the new trend of shortening story lines and game play has well not been so encouraging in games. My shooter games are all turning into fluff because of the this trend and not nearly the fun they used to be.
Hello everybody, I thought I'd stop in and introduce myself here. I am the artist creating the levels for BattlEternal II. It has been great reading through this thread and I especially want to thank everybody for the compliments on the graphics. For BattlEternal II we challenged ourselves to create a fully 3D world that was detailed and immersive. The limitations of any mobile device are in a way a solution. Since we can't just throw unlimited polygons into a scene, it becomes very important to use every poly effieciently and then to put all those details that make a believable world into textures. Along with the lighting and shadows, we think we have a great game world that you'll enjoy exploring. Thanks! Rich DiGiovanni
How deep are the character creation and customization mechanics? One of my favorite parts about RPGs is trying out all sorts of different character combinations.
Just want to say that I am a big RPG fan, and I love what you guys have done. Rich, great job as always! Scenes look fantastic, can't wait to try this one out. -Larry
Am I the only one who doesn't see a screenshot above that post? Btw, I'll send info for beta testing via pm. I hope I can help. As always, your game looks incredible.
--> Dev Reply Haruhi, There will certainly be alot of customization you can do with the characters. Full attributes and spell systems with lots of items to find and buy for starters. I also enjoy building up of characters very much (in fact, Im playing WoW right now...) Madman - the screenshot is actually the last entry of the previous page. And once again - all the people who have written requesting to help us out with Beta Testing, we will put that together shortly, and weare very glad to have your assistance! Thanks Everyone, Trevor
Great graphics! I can't wait to try Battle Eternal II. As a software developer I appreciate the attention to detail in the graphics. A lot of effort went into this game and it shows!
--> Dev Reply GXP_FORCE, Thanks for looking at our game and posting on the forums, Please let us know if you have any ideas, or comments, etc... For Rent - Townhouse. Renter to remove Ogres currently living here Thanks Everyone! Trevor
--> Dev Reply Jumpman, That picture is more on the outskirts of town. The town you start out in is very large and has thriving downtown sections, and other areas that range from dense and populated to remote and sparce. If you agree to get rid of the Ogres, we may be able to waive the security deposit ... Thanks for the reply! Trevor
Awesome. Thanks for the quick reply. So speaking of the town you start out in. Is there a set boundary for where it goes from safe area to unsafe, or are there some enemies toward the outer boundaries (like are there enemies in that town area in the screenshot)? Thanks
--> Dev Reply Jumpman, The initial town will have some dangerous areas, and will start building on characters and game lore, and be a very nice, interactive part of the game that really gets you immersed in the story. So there will be areas that are more dangerous than others. Funny thing about towns ... When you see a monster, you expect a battle, but when you see an 'innocent' villager, do you expect trouble, or a merchant? Danger and adventure can be found in many forms and places ... But now I've said to much, and they might even be after me! Thanks! Not even 2 minutes and you've got the whole town after me!! *** Runs away and hides in the wagon next to the ogre house ... Thanks for writing, Trevor
So I take it that's the safest place in the town? xD I'm getting a real Haven vibe (from the Hawk & Fisher by Simon R. Green, not Jak and Daxter, duh). If your plan was to make me interested, you succeeded. Bring on the release.
--> Dev Reply Whiteplayer3d, We will post a video of the gameplay soon, for sure, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, thanks for looking, and we hope you enjoy the media we are posting. Thanks for writing! - Trevor
