I don't think the smaller screen would fit the amount of UI and other detail that the game has. Although maybe the larger 6 screens could do it - but we'll have to wait and see.

Agreed. If you want to play the best strategy games on iOS then you really need an iPad. Battle academy is awesome but I couldn't see it working on an iPhone.
Personally I'd say everything plays better on the bigger screen anyway,

I am playing this on a ipad 2

 

This game is amazing. Having never played BA1, I find it to my loss that i spent the past 2 years without a BA game on my ipad.

I realise there's a manual provided for the pc version of the game. Would like to know if it's available on the ipad version too or if there's a pdf available for download.

Also looking for other newbies to play multi!

 

Ah nvm. Found it. Wish there's a pdf though, instead of the online manual. Not complaining!

 

I too never played BA and now bought BA2.
I also have searched for tips and explantion about the mechanics of the BA serie.

I been playing coop and its been really nice to work with someone.
Though some campaign missions are not available as coop

 

Great features, a top quality game

 

Some of the SP missions had force compositions or victory conditions that meant they would not work well as Coop missions, so you cannot select them. IIRC it was only a handful of the missions though.

Hopefully, this is game is fantastic!

 

We are considering the new, larger iPhones to see whether they might be playable, but the UI might be a little too fiddly on smaller screens than the iPad Mini.

FYI, you can now download the first official free content for BA2. It is a small mission designed for- and played during our Castello event in Italy. Journalists and staff battled it out to see who could get the highest score. Apparently some of them missed the thrill of battle and asked where they could get it!

Just played a multiplayer match and got my ass kicked.. Need to play these campaigns thoroughly before jumping into online play.. Any tips would be awesome.. The tutorial doesn't go in depth explaining what to do
