Very curious, please share your results:)
What game you played- how long- to what percentage you got.

Would be interested in hearing as well as I'm actually trying to decide between one or possibly a Galaxy Alpha or Z3 compact for my next phone but based on this I wouldn't really be expecting too much from them.

Seems pretty good, haven't played any marathons but seems to last longer than my 5.

Its very good. Honestly downloading a bunch of games over wifi drained my battery more than playing the games did.

Battery life is excellent almost as good as having an iPad mini. Downloading apps is what sucks the battery.

That sounds like a problem with the app not the iPhone itself. Some apps are badly designed in terms of battery usage.

Played Puzzle Quest 2 for about 3 hours. Wifi and Bluetooth both on. Brightness (auto) in the middle of the brightness bar. dropped about 20%... I am pretty happy!

Better call Apple - sounds like something is causing your battery to leak - you could try a hard reset?

Nah. I had the same problem. Brutally short battery life. But Apple can't do anything. If Hambo downloaded the last iOS update directly onto the device (via wifi), it may have been corrupted. Also, an e-Mail account or GC could cause some problems. The device is also (in those cases with the fast battery drain) constantly heating up a lot. Looks like a module is under constant power, thus draining the battery like crazy and causing the heating.

To fix the battery life, you need to take the following steps:

    1. unbind / delete all e-mail accounts in settings
    2. log out of GameCenter
    3. disable all notifications
    4. do a complete backup of the phone via iTunes (Mac/PC) and disconnect the device
    5. reset the phone to factory settings
    6. download the newest iOS 8 update via iTunes on your Mac/PC
    7. connect the phone to iTunes and let iTunes install the last iOS update
    8. restore the phone from the Tunes backup
    9. log into GC again and add your E-Mail accounts, re-enable your notifs

    That should fix the problem.

Before I updated and did the steps, I had around 2.5 - 3 hrs of iP6 usage, maximum. Now I have 7.5 - 9 hrs in normal use, without gaming.

@Vovin - Holy crap!! Easy to see why a corrupt iOS download would cause problems though. I generally only do iOS updates through a computer. Well, at least it got fixed and you are back in business. :)

Yeah, my iP6 totally failed me. Downloaded iOS 8.1 via wifi and installed. There very next day, the battery had massive problems and the device always got very hot. From the location of the heating, it could have been the wifi or 3G/LTE module under constant power? I dunno. But a normal update via PC fixed everything.

edit: just got notice from Hambo! Greath Wizzzard Vovin hath healeth Hambo's phone! ;) :D
