Ok so on my iPhone 3g with the newest firmware. I was playing flight control and it shut down. So then I turned it back on and it was frozen so I did a force shutdown then turned it back on to see tge battery dead screen. I got home and charged it. I later found that defalt apple apps work. And a few app store apps do too. Like remote, cod zombies, jet car stunts, boost 3d, ect. Only 15 or so work. The rest show the splash screen for a second and crash to the home screen. If I reinstall them it works but I have 110+ apps and I don't want to lose my data. Any ideas?

    Solved! Thanks.

I've had it happen before, fortunatly for me I don't hold that many apps so I reinstalled them.

It seems to be the only way to bring them back to normal.

If that doesn't work restore and set up as a new phone

Does it work when is plugged to the USB? As you say maybe just is a battery problem.

Oh sorry I meant that first I let the battery die normally over time then I turned it on once it was plugged in and most app store apps don't work. But oddly 15 or so work still.

I get this quite a bit, best way I've found to stop it happening is to simply felts then reinstall an app, on my phone this doesn't just fix the app I deleted/installed, but all apps.

The other way to fix is to sync with ur computer, after a full sync and backup the apps always start working again.

Hope it helped, I was going crazy when this first happened to me, used to it now >.>
