Universal Batman Arkham City Lockdown - (by Warner Bros.)

Discussion in 'iPhone and iPad Games' started by Echoseven, Dec 7, 2011.

  1. Yea, I gotta use deflect more, I rarely use it, kind of got used to using dodge only because of Blood and Glory.

Got one question, those gunshots always hit me, one time I did something and my batman seemed to dodge it going down. Do I swipe down to dodge bullets, or use a regular dodge? And will deflect work on bullets?

Thanks for taking time to answer my questions, your advice really helps since I'm trying to do my best to finish the game since it takes up like 1.7 gbs on my ipad, but the more I play this game, the more I like it, but I am glad it has icloud saves, so if I have to temporarily delete it for other games like Asphault 7 and Modern combat 3, it will save my progress.

Edit: i just made a text file on my ipad, and copy and pasted your post to it, so I will try those moves on those thugs soon. Nananananananana Batman!

Well, looks like you have an ipad, so you might be lucky. If you have an ipod touch, especially a 4th gen. unit I'd say 30 seconds before it crashes!

The game hardly works for me anymore, so my advice might be outdated. However, I know that you cannot deflect bullets, so time your dodges.

How many batman suits are free? Free hereby means unlockable by doing missions.

Yes. They only share one on one battles and swiping mechanics, but even those are very different. I think that you should buy this game now that's on sale if you like IB, if you don't use an iPod 4 though.

Very disappointed I can't play this game due to it crashing. Sometimes it crashes during the first fight other times it crashes right after the splash! (tried rebooting etc...) Does it just not work on my "ancient" 2 year old iPad? If that's the case they should change the system requirements.

This game works just fine on my first generation ipad. Haven't had any problems with it.

So do I just totally suck at this game?

Bought this for .99 on July 4th and I really want to keep playing it, but for some reason, I really suck at it, and I'm really good at IB2 on my iPad 3. I keep dying over and over on the first level with the gas and when the health is cut in half. I think I found a bug where you can't deflect the first punch thrown on that level, cause I've tried over and over, I've just ended up doding. Any help would be appreciated! :D

Dude! I'm having the exact same problem. I've played through both IB and IB2 with no problems but this game is driving me nuts. I can't get past this level at all. Glad I only paid a dollar. Any help out there is appreciated!

Same problem hete. I hae a tip though. The moves the villains use are not random, they are preset. For example at the poison level: after 1 big combo the villain takes three steps back then he gives one punch and goes into rage. Always like this. Try to remember when they do what. Good luck!

That level is actually not the first level, its a poison ivy challenge. There are 2 other levels that have 3 or 4 enemies and then a boss battle. Hope this helps.

  17. Yeah, me too, I keep dying on that level. Had to delete the game to buy some games for the July 4th sales, so will come back to this problem next month I suppose.

Once you beat all the missions/challenges, is there any real incentive to keep playing? This is a huge file, lol.

  19. Isn't getting more bat costumes enough? Hehe j/k

The challenge levels are for after you have been playing the game and have levelled up your powerups and armour quite a bit first! No wonder you are having trouble if you are trying to do those first! Go on to the other areas, fight against the Joker and a couple others first, then when you are like level 15 or so, you might be able to survive those challenge levels.
