How many bosses are there total, and can you go back and select the boss fights to play again?

So can you keep playing through the game after you beat it and continue to level up? Are there a lot of items to upgrade?

The games not as bad as some posts say but the dodge controls could be more responsive in my opinion. Not a bad buy especially if they keep updating this.

Yes you can. There are enough upgrades to keep you entertained for a while, but I'd appreciate a bit more variety though. I'm liking the game a lot and hope updates arrive soon.

This game at least looks like a lot better usage of Batman than that ridiculous Lego Batman: Gotham City Games one. I will probably pick this one up at some point, but I have a huge backlog I'm working through atm.

I'm really enjoying this game. I'm a Batman fan so I'm biased from the get go but I also like IB and WB combined the 2 which works for me! I really like the use of "mini-games" in the boss levels. The battles are as repetitious as IB so if you like IB you should find enjoyment in this. If you don't but are a die hard Batman fan you may like, if you don't like either than you probably aren't here anyway :p. Can't wait to see the rest of the game!

Im both a fighting game fan and (as a kid i was) a comic fan.
This game is repetitive, yes. But i have to admit it gave me a thrill to throw the batmerang in the first boss fight.
I enjoy it and hope upgrading Batman + more bossfights + future up dates Will make it less repetitive

Really like the game and it gives me hope that one day a full featured Batman games will come out on IOS.

If you are fan buy it! If not wait for the price drop.

    Its a soild 4/5

I'm loving this game more than Infinity Blade 2. I really like the Gotham city environment and the fighting style. Seems like you can pull off more combos and perform different moves compared to Infinity blade. I also really like the tap anywhere to dodge since you can literally play this game laying in bed with 1 finger. Can't really do that with infinity blade since you have to choose to dodge left or right.

Game is polished and runs perfect and smooth on iPad 2. Bottom line it's Infinity Blade Batman with what I would say some improvements

I like Both games but I'm having more fun with this right now.

you sure about that? i and a lot of other reviewers came to the same conclusion that this is like a lower tier version of IB. it's actually the opposite to what you said as it has a more limited environment and even less battle combos/fighting styles. i think 1 weapon in infinity blade has more fighting animations than this game =\ even the enemies attack in very similar fighting styles. i still think it's a good game but i don't see how it'd be comparable to IB2

maybe it's that you like batman that it appears better than medieval knights =p

I feel the same as MKPLayer. This game is epic fun and a wonderfully welcome addition to the app store! It feels fresh and unlike IB, almost existing as it's own entity here on ios. While it may lack the glamour or weapon level up depth of IB, Batman definitely delivers MORE story, excitement, varied gameplay and a fun, familiar setting with TEN times the personality of IB or IBII.

I wish I could say I was wrong initally and I'm actually enjoying it... but I'm not.

I also know how people are bored of the comparisons to console games, but this one in particular was asking for it. It uses the same assets and almost the exact same name, comparisons were inevitable. After playing Arkham City on the PS3 it makes this game feel a lot cheaper, the personality atopix speaks of is non-existent to me, as the entire thing feels ripped out of an existing project and forced into this weird kind of puppetry in a game mechanic it wasn't designed for. I suppose I really have just been spoiled by the "real" Arkham City and it's incredible combat, and I feel that this game would have been so much more acceptable had they not ridden the same wave as that game. With its own assets and its own identity it would have been so much more impressive, but right now it's just Arkham City/Infinity Blade Lite.

I really enjoyed this game. That said, combat is nowhere near as deep as that of IBII. Combos are severely limited, enemies are extremely repetitive, the only thing that kept me going were the boss fights and the special takedowns you can perform on low-health enemies by tapping certain spots on them (I also liked how you could disarm enemies with weapons in this way). But, somehow i felt like there wasn't much of a story here. I'm not gonna argue that IB has more, but I expected a lot more than what was told through the cutscenes. Sure, you got to fight familiar villains, and each had their characteristic quirks, which was cool, but I was really disappointed in the ending of B:ACL. It seemed really abrupt. Does this mean they're gonna add a true ending after the update with the new bosses?
