While I thought Daredevil was terrible, I think Affleck has been better lately than he was back then. Maybe it will be okay...
For me the last Batman trilogy was (mostly) good inspite of Christian Bale, so I'll be open minded about Affleck. The Dark Knight was my high point due to Ledger, the music and the real stunt work. The Dark Knight Rises my low due to just about every aspect.
I just found it weak after TDK personally, the over arcing theme of the story was fine but the way it was delivered was a bit half hearted, acting was pretty regular to poor and some of the situations were resolved laughably. I'm sure there's an army of people who loved it, but I found it hugely disappointing.
After the first time I found it pretty weak aswell. However I've watched it a few more times now and it's really grown on me. I love the class stuff and the leveling of society. It's a really smart action flick
Due to initial disappointment I've only watched it the once, might give it a second whirl and see if it sits any better with another viewing.
Ya know, they kinda wore out after the first viewing. The only recent actions flicks that stay awesome, to me, after repeated viewings are The Expendables 1&2 Transformers Dark of the Moon. That said, i really want to avoid seeing a contrived Supes/Bats fight. Also still needa see Man of Steel.
