Probably around 32, but I'm only speculating. For consoles, the max for the PS3 is 256 MAG also has less lag than other 32 player games.
32 is still decent though. I hope its big enough as the maps will be large and I don't want to be walking for ages.
I don't see why they can't bring the 64 players to the consoles. MAG did a helluva job with the 256, though I didn't care for the game much really. Anyways, this game is going to be rad as shit.
MAG has the match split up into different areas which is why it works like that. What I've heard is 64 on PC and the engine apparently works better with PS3 than 360.
If I ever get around to breaking the seal on the copy of Battlefield Bad Company 2 LE that I foolishly pre-ordered, maybe I'll consider it. Once it becomes an EA Flash deal for $20 shipped....
I'm sure it will be easy to get around in a fighter jet, just the out of bounds thing might suck. Im also sure, if they are smart it will be 64 people. That's a selling point for many including me but I'll still buy either way. Dice makes their games just fun.
