This is a great port of a great game. Well worth the price of admission.

Stop being mad about it not running in iPhone, current gen can't handle it, and next gen iPhones probably won't either.

So you're saying than an iPad 2 can handle this game, but an iPhone 4S can't?

It has nothing to do with power, it's the screen size. The dev said so themselves.

I'm no expert, but it would take to many modifications and changes to get this to run on an iphone than is really worth it, most people are already playing it on pc and xbox.

Actually, I've got it running just fine on an iPhone 4. The problem is the touch detection is way off. If it wasn't for that it would work just fine. The devs just felt that it wouldn't feel right on a smaller screen for whatever reason and that's the only reason it's not available for iPhones. Nothing to do with them not being able to run it.

This is one of the best action rpgs that come out in awhile. Finished the game on the PC awhile back and some of the weapons challenges are pretty hard even on a gamepad or mouse/KB. Not sure how it controls here.

Stands to reason: the iPad 2 and the iPhone 4S have pretty much the same specs.

They have identical specs, however the iPhone 4s performs better in general having a less pixels to push. This statement that current gen iPhones couldn't run Bastion is complete rubbish, especially seeing as how it's mostly 2D.

One common theme in the reviews of the game is that the classic controls are "good for a touchscreen." The funny thing is, I stopped playing this on my Mac because I hated the keyboard/mouse controls. I find the iPad version much, much easier to control, particularly on those tricky narrow platforms. The aim assists helps, too.

Agree. I actually like the iOS control scheme. The vstick makes the game a bit like a KRPG when played on the Pad.

But above all else, this game is godly.

What weapon combo and skill is everyone enjoying so far? I'm digging the dual pistol and bellows, but unsure of best skill option.

I really like the bow. Very satisfying when you got a perfect shot / critical shot.

All weapons seem very capable, which is great! Fully upgraded Fang Reapeter with target lock is pretty awesome.

Almost perfect. I just wish the auto aim would prioritize living targets.
