Hi everyone, dev here. 200 points, nice score! Well out in front. O)_O) Thanks for checking out the game everyone, and thank you for the constructive feedback. I'll look for ways to clear up the game mechanic and adjust the difficulty.
Nice idea! Although in the next update the zombies will run much faster once they're on the ground. It was supposed to be a more clear-cut game-over when they land on the ground, but I didn't make them fast enough in the current version. Getting them while they're in the sky is definitely the way to go! I can adjust things as more feedback comes in, fo sho.
Finally had a chance to play this a bit. Wow, hardcore but fun! I do wish that once you pass a skull to where they're off screen (behind you) they would permanently disappear. So basically, eliminate movement to the left and make it more a side scroller that you only progress to the right. Of course you wouldn't get points for missing those skulls, but it wouldn't be an insta-death either. That, to me anyway, would seem a better way to handle trying to kill the skulls while also trying to avoid being struck by a meteor. Maybe that could be an added mode or something? Just my two cents Cool game though.
I can't seem to run this on my iPad mini 1. It always crashes when I try to open the app. Is there anything wrong with the app right now?
How do u kill the ones on the ground that are floating behind u that were impossible to hit anyways. Also u got move and dodge stuff while quickly tap aiming. Impossible game
Sorry that's happening, thanks for the tip What version of iOS are you on? Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely work on an update that keeps the zombies out in front.
Hey np! I'm pretty sure I've zapped the bug. The update should be out mid next week. Other players have had the same issue on other devices so it was easy to find.
So was the intention for the skulls to be able to get behind the character, yet give no way for the character to address killing them? I noticed that the character can only hit baseballs to the right, which feels out of place since the character moves left. I couldn't tell if that was an intentional game element, especially simce meteors are a constant threat forcing movement to the right (thus making all enemies that float over to the left an insta-death). If the hero could at least hit baseballs left, or add another button for being able to hit the characters on the ground, I could see the point of this mechanic. As-is, it feels out of place and cheap. Not trying to be harsh, I just was looking for a way to deal with these enemies only to realize there isn't.
Very cool and very lame at the same time. Skulls behind me tht i cannot address. Only option to avoid them getting behind you is not to move, then the meteor inevitably blows u up. I so want to like this but in its current state it is a fail attempt.
I'd say leave the enemy movement speed on the ground the same, and add a way to melee attack them. Or ditch movement to the left due to not being able to hit enemies to the left, and slow down how quickly enemies drop from the sky....or ditch the meteors. Also, maybe make it so that instead of having one chance to tap at the right time to hit the baseball, the meter could go back and forth until a tap is made for the ball's trajectory. Since baseballs are already limited, it's super frustrating trying to get used to the quirky aiming when you get one chance and then lose the ball. Something has to give. I've played a lot of hard games, but this one is frustrating because the mechanics limit being successful to a point of not wanting to try and get better, and the meteors force a bad decision that can't be prevented. I get making it a quick-play game, but this type game feels a bad choice for a quick-play setup. This one should be one where you can get a good rythm going and survive for longer than 2 seconds. I have to stop playing this or I'm going to chuck my phone across the room Lol
I figured the character moved automatically & it was the players job to "bat". I guess move forward & no more left falling stuff would work. I want to try this just b/c who developed it, but responses have been iffy.
Do yourself a favor and just don't. It is so terribly weak, practically unplayable. Needs a playability update and a lot needs to be changed. Sad, rlly. I want to like it. Smh
