Maybe it's just me but survival seems no easier. Just annoys me is all it does anymore. IMO, troops need to level up as you play. It is not forgiving enough when you lose troops. I'm sure I'm a bit rusty but I couldn't even come near my 13:50 mark.
Problem restoring purchase Anyone having problems with restoring your purchase (the gold axe)? I bought it on my iPad, but I'm not able to restore it to my iPhone. I just get the password box over and over, but nothing happens. I went as far as restarting my phone, but that didn't seem to make any difference. Update: there was an update to the game. after I installed it, I was able to restore my purchase.
Tried for the Noscope achievement again after update and still no luck, just wanted to report it might still be glitched along with Hardbarian. Third boss also led to some visual tearing when my stormknights killed him with swords they stayed on the screen after his death and continued to shoot all over the screen till the end of the game.
Endless is pretty fun. What I think could help it and also survival is incorporating the gold in to it. Currently there is no reason (besides my OCD) to pick the gold up. For new players though survival is where it is at for money farming. Maybe high score for amount of gold picked up Ability to spend the gold on power ups like a shield that absorbs one hit, speed boots, time warp etc.
As far as I know it saves the game locally so deleting the game will in turn cause you to lose your progress. I could be wrong but when I put the game on my iPhone I had to start from the beginning and never got any kind of prompt from iCloud.
Endgame I really don't enjoy endless, it's a different game, dodge bullets with no friends. My idea of an endgame lets me choose the makeup of my squad and fight an ever increasing horde while collecting gold to summon replacements. Unfortunately, neither survival or endless do this so my interest has waned. A much harder skill level that opens up after you beat the game would also work as an endgame.
It's kind of annoying when I decide I want to change my party setup mid-battle but the only way to free up spots is to try to get them killed off. A pause menu option could work. Could you consider doing something like this?
Will there be an endless mode like the original campaign? The new mode is cool but I was hoping for it to be similar to the main quest.(that's where the real fun and ingenuity is) * oops didn't read the post 2 places above me :/ Well then I can't wait for that
Wow, I have just lost my save game the 2nd time. Both times after about 12 hours of playing. Just wonderful!!! So, here is my GUIDE "HOW TO LOSE MY SAVE GAME (and nobody seems to bother and fix)" - play the game excessively for days and days - allow yourself to update other games or install new ones - now continue playing Bardbarian - in case your device (in this case iPad4) has "only" about 10 MB of space left, you've just made it!!! - the game will now only show the Developer logo. It will not start anymore! - close the game - realize that the "problem" could be that you have not much space left. Clean up space. - restart the game: Tattttaaaaaaaa!!! Your holy save game is gone. There is one left, but it is at 0%. Awesome! Seriously, as much as I obviously enjoy the game, playing it through twice.. WTF DEVELOPERS?? This is an obvious bug and probably easy to fix, so why don't you care? And what about the save backup option I read about?? Why can't I just cloud save as in any other decent app? Let me know if I can spend a dozen of hours more for your, testing this (no, I don't mean it)... The new endless mode is horrible also btw. LOL... It may be apple's fault coz i believe the OS deletes some files on your device when you are running out of space. Odd how it would choose a recently used file to delete. Not the dev's fault man. And 10mb left is suicide. LOL
