Hey, just wanted to tell the Devs that I'm really liking this game. I had some suggestions when I reviwed it, so I figure ill post them here too since the devs are here. First I've already maxed out everything so I have a bunch of money with nothing to use it on. So I was thinking new characters, abilities etc... I see you've added a fourth slot that's cool.(I was kinda hoping u took away the the slots and let us be able to summon anyone) Just wondering if the game will be updated as far as the main quest? It was kind of short and I felt like the enimies didn't fully let me get the most out of combining characters and trying out different techniques etc... The Survival mode is ok but I think it would be more fun summoning ur characters rather than walking around picking them up. Also I think multiplayer would be really cool but I know thats probly too much.. As far as new characters I have a few ideas... An Ice Mage that could temporarily freeze enemies, fire Mage could cause burn damge overtime, an up close Sword fighter/healer paladin, A summoner that casts various monsters etc.., and my last idea guy who can absorb enemy bullets then shoot it back. Well that's about it thanks again for the awesome game.
Loving the game, best dollar i've spent in a while but was just wondering what the friends upgrade actually does
When you purchase it, the shops at the top of the town randomly supply you with helpful items. Each has an item specific to its shop. Butcher: bacon that heals everyone in your party by 25% Fisherman: a fish that gives you five notes Blacksmith: a bag of 50 gold You will have to walk up to the shops to pick these items up. I won't spoil it unless you want me to but there is also an upgrade that allows you to receive them without any effort...
We have a mode specifically for giving you something to spend your end-game gold on, complete with an exclusive leader board to try post scores We're also giving you a new "Insane" difficutly mode, enemies fire faster, and more bullets everywhere, it's pretty nuts! This won't be in the next update though, the next update contains Endless Runner mode, which is a cool little time waster. A couple weeks after that will be the End Game content pack... sorry for the delay, it's not really our choice.
Question for you guys... As a new studio, we're still trying to work out the best pricing schemes to make ends meet. The $.99 + IAP route didn't work out that well for us tbh. For Android, we're thinking of some alternatives. PAID ** Sell for 2.99 ** Golden Axe for 20,000G (remove from IAP section) ** Discount Gold Packs: $1, $2, $3 FREE (Ad supported) ** Remove Ads: $1.99 ** Golden Axe: $1.99 ** GoldPacks @ $2, $4, $6 What's your gut feedback to those pricing schemes?
People hate online requirement, so as long as ad-supported doesn't require online I wouldn't mind that one myself. (Personally, I'm not trying to avoid ads by playing offline, but my room has a pathetic signal so I can't help it... Not to mention requiring online for a single player game is illogical...) Well, once you finally upgrade everything in the normal game, gold would become useless, unless there's something like that...
Unless there was some sort of secret set of upgrades for every unit, a 4th party slot, and some super hard Endless Waves you could challenge... if only that existed somewhere
Hey, thanks for the great game, just finished it! I didn't get the golden axe, because it seemed like paying to cheat. Definitely nothing wrong with it, I'm just personally not into that sort of IAP. I'd recommend raising the purchase price of the game for a couple of reasons, which I've mentioned on this board before. First, being above minimum price is a sign of quality, and you made a quality game that merits the higher price. Second, and much more importantly, a higher starting price means you can have sales. When your game goes on sale, links to it are posted all over the net by bots and interested gamers. When your game costs 99 cents, no one cares. When it's on sale, that's a call to action and worth talking about. Downloads spike during the sale and the game rises in the store rankings, which leads to more sales. I don't have data to back this up, but it's the trend I've seen watching numbers on the App Stores and on steam. As for IAP, my gut says to make the golden axe available for either gold or money in the full version, about $.99 and 20k. I get that you're looking to offset raising the game purchase price, but I think it feels fine to leave it as an optional IAP. I'd have the free version upgrade to the full version with an IAP which is the same price as the full game, and keep them otherwise the same, it's kind of confusing otherwise and some customers are going to feel cheated. Consistency will lead to a happier support inbox. I think if you wanted to sell more gold, the best way would be to add a couple more ranks to all the summons with much higher gold prices, and provide somewhere to use those more powerful troops. A new set of levels would be neat, but you'd need a new boss and some monsters, which could be expensive. A shorter, more intense game mode might work great though, and could reuse all the same monsters. Anyway, sorry for way too much advice; you guys clearly know what you're doing! It was just a weird coincidence that I finished the game and then immediately found this thread asking for comments, couldn't resist. Edit- Reading back a few pages I see that the new modes are already planned. Sounds good!
