Gameplay is a unique hybrid of: arcade, rpg, strategy/tower defense and a shoot-em-up. You play as Brad, who is tired of being a barbarian and always wanted to make music, so one day, when his town is under attack, decides to play music instead of fighting. While playing music, brad inspires the townsfolk to fight for him instead of hiding. The moral of the game is doing what makes you happy instead of whats expected of you, the irony is that brad could kill most of these enemies with one swing of his weapon, but chooses not to. Dodge enemy projectiles while your followers attack for you. Use power-solos for attack, defense and speed buffs. Killing 5 enemies without being hit will give you a stun power-solo which knocks back and stuns your enemies, as well as destroying all enemy projectiles. Features: - Unique, hybrid, genre-bending gameplay - Hand-drawn original artwork. - 12 unlockable characters! Customize your party loadout, over 200 possible combinations. - Collect loot from your fallen enemies and upgrade Brad, the town, and your units in the shop! - 4 intense boss battles. - An awesome rock/metal soundtrack by Maximum Satan iPhone Screenshots Bardbarian NOW FEATURING MEATBOY, ISAAC, OCTODAD & SHELLRAZER!”The game is just amazingly fun to play.“- Touch A… TouchArcade Rating: Free Buy Now Watch Media DetailsNOW FEATURING MEATBOY, ISAAC, OCTODAD & SHELLRAZER!”The game is just amazingly fun to play.“- Touch Arcade - 5/5“In every way imaginable, Bardbarian steps up as the perfect mobile experience.”- Gamezebo - 5/5“The most addictive mobile title I’ve reviewed in a very long time.”- CapsuleComputers - 8.5/10“Combining many popular genres pays off for this original and fast-paced game.”- 148Apps - 4/5Shred lute and collect loot in the critically acclaimed action-rpg Bardbarian! STORYIn BARDBARIAN you play as Brad the Barbarian, who is (once again) awoken to the sounds of his town under siege. Today is no ordinary day though; Brad has grown tired of fighting. The XP grind has grown dull, and his heart beats with a musical bloodlust. It looks like it will get stale fast based on Sanuku's video. The enemies he encountered all did the same thing and were fairly spread apart on the map. But then again, it's just the starting gameplay. Also, war and bloody, deadly conflict, a great context in which to deliver a moral about following your heart instead of route, tradition and necessity Cynuyt Well-Known Member May 31, 2013 1,980 0 36 http://pine-entertainment.com #13 Cynuyt, Jan 15, 2014 The shop system look neat, characters was cute, considering to buy. Will have to make time to watch the 20 min video as I'm not quite sure how the gameplay goes but I'll most likely be picking this up. christopherrocs Well-Known Member Aug 15, 2013 553 0 16 #17 christopherrocs, Jan 15, 2014 Is there iPod 4 support?? bardbarian Member Jan 24, 2013 22 0 0 #18 bardbarian, Jan 15, 2014 There sure is! bardbarian Member Jan 24, 2013 22 0 0 #19 bardbarian, Jan 15, 2014 Thanks so much for posting this gameplay video! I seen in the video it said survival is about skill and upgrades don't count, I didn't get as far as to see if he played endless does endless count upgrades?
