Still hard at work on it, doing the final boss at the moment. I'm aiming to release it at the end of July, but don't be surprised if it slips into August. I'll be sure to post here when I know better.
Hello! It's time for a quick beta test! If there's anyone who wants to help out, here's some basic info Requirements: You are into hack'n'slash & arcade games You actually have the time to play it properly, not just quit after first level if you find it boring You're "trustworty individual" and you have some kind of real name online presence, and/or can in some other way convince me that you're not a random code hunter (I don't want to find my game on pirate sites just before release) Platforms: iOS: the more different devices you have, the better (the game requires iOS8) MFi controller testing a bonus Windows/Steam: if you have non-standard/weird hardware, good game controller recommended, but keyboard works too To join, contact me by e-mail at [email protected]. Let me know who you are and which build and on what hardware you would like to test it on. Beta test places are very limited and I will ONLY reply to e-mails that get in the test. Thanks!
Barbearian is now available for pre-order. It's a premium game ($8.99 / 9,99 €) and it will launch on 15th of August, barring any natural disasters or other catastrophic events. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/barbearian/id1351822099
This is going to be a must buy for any hack n slash fan. The controls are spot on and tons of content. Have sunk a good amount of time in and only like 12% completed. Get ready to jump on this.
There's one virtual stick for movement and a bunch of virtual buttons for different actions on the screen. There's also MFi controller support if you've got one.

The controls are ok. I’ve already reported my opinion and got a response but just in case Anyone else wants to know the 2 cents of someone that beta tests a lot of games. The right side controls for hacking and slashing and using power ups and soul energy to revive fallen comrades is pretty spot on no complaints, my issue came with the left thumb stick. It has a kind of a small area for my thumbs, yes once you press you can move your thumb anywhere you want but once you lift you have to “reset” your thumb to the original spot, so I recommended and option with a floating stick so you can press anywhere but the designated spots for the other actions to move, and even a double quick tap to activate rage, and/or an option to resize the thumb stick. But really that’s it not even that huge of a complaint. I also thought there was no pause for the longest time until I really needed to and kept pushing everywhere until I found it which was top center screen, it’s just invisible so you won’t know how to pause until you find it other then that the game is so fun, chaotic, I was worried about the building army part because I hate army building games but it’s more of an after thought then super in depth, they’re more like fodder and distraction then anything which I love, no complicated stats to worry about, choose warriors, archers, and they follow you around and run in to the thick of it then you just bring em back to life with soul energy if you have some. when it comes out I recommend it. Save your credits because this is one game you need to add to your collection.
