Hi, I'm Kimmo, the developer of such older iOS games like Drift'n'Drive and Trigonarium. I've been working on a new game for a few years and just finished a trailer for it.

It's called Barbearian, a fast-paced hack'n'slash with massive battles in a colorful, hand-drawn world, and I'm hoping to finish it this summer.

It's coming to both iOS and PC.

There's also a bit more information at www.barbearian.com. I've also held a development log for the past year+ at TIGSource, if anyone is interested reading about the process.

    Thanks!

    -- EDIT: 27/07/2018

Barbearian is now available for pre-order. It's a premium game ($8.99 / 9,99 €) and it will launch on 15th of August, barring any natural disasters or other catastrophic events.

    Looks terrific!

Any possibility of an Android release?

Thanks! Not at least initially, I'm just one guy and Android platform fragmentation is a bit too much to handle for now. But maybe in the future, who knows. :)

Wow, it looks great. When will it be released? Do you have a Pre-Order plan?
How much is it? I may have to check my app store's balance in advance. ;)
Anyway, I'm looking forward to it. :)

    Cool!

Yeah if itndows well on iOS I suppose you could hand it off to a porting company.

In any case, hope your game is really succesful!

    Thank you all!

I don't have an exact release date yet, I'm just saying a vague "summer" target as there's still a lot to do. Probably late summer rather than early summer though. No pre-order plan for now and I haven't decided the price yet. :)

But it will be paid, not free? Good to hear.

    Mfi controls

Will it have support for MFI controls?

    Yes, definitely paid.

Yes, full support for MFi controllers like with my previous game, Trigonarium.

It'll be F2P or premium with in-app purchases?

Neither. It's premium with no in-apps.

Zero chance that Kimmo Lahtinen, creator of the immortal Trigonarium, would tarnish his developer pedigree with anything less than a fully paid game. Barbearian will be chaotic Premium bliss.
