I know we usually avoid political discussion here (and for good reason), but the lounge is a little more loose.

    But...I mean...c'mon now. WTF?

An improvement over the last guy, maybe, but has he actually done anything yet? Has he even had enough time to do anything? Anything to deserve such a prize?

Did peace break out in the world for 30 seconds when I wasn't looking, and the Nobel judges though that a great time to announce this?

Oh, and I assume this may very well be deleted for "off topic" or whatever, so in an attempt to tie this in with iPhone/touch gaming:

Obama Peace Prize apps are coming. We all know it's inevitable.

Thats because liberals decide who gets the prize, therefor the prize only goes to liberals or people with a similiar ideology.

All the fly did was make PETA go crazy. I mean, I'm a bug lover and a vegan, but I still think that was taking it too far. People kill flies every day, and maybe it wasn't a good choice for him to kill one but PETA needs to chill.

As for the Peace Prize, that is a bit weird but he deserves it 100% for being a really awesome president.

Conservatives run Fox therefore anything that has ever come or will come from Fox is BS and lies. Where did the logic fail?

Bush was one of the worst Presidents ever so that electing Obama actually did promote Peace in the world. But Bush did have good reflexes :D

Liberalism actually is a right wing philosophy aimed at minimal government influence over a population. Only in America has the term been perverted to it's current meaning.

Obama has done (please mind the language) shit to deserve the award. Reagan, our greatest president, deserved this award more than anyone, he stopped the friggin cold war!

BTW, whichever mod changed the "??" to "!!" in the title, don't think I didn't notice.

The true title of this topic was:

    "Barak Obama...Nobel Peace Prize Winner??"

Unless, of course, in my utter confusion I completely forgot where the ? key was on the keyboard versus the ! key

And, honestly...I ain't buyin' that scenario.

Pom-pom shaking members of any of the two major political parties in the US are part of the problem, not the solution. If there's one good thing to come from Obama's term is that people are finally waking up to this fact.

Also, the greatest thing about that Bush shoe dodge was that the nutter actually had a smile on his face the whole time. He must've thought it was just a customary game they played in Iraq or something.

"Oh, cool...dodge shoe. We play that with a ball in the US. Boy you folk sure are different. Heh heh heh."

    :p

He is the winner. If I left the question mark I would have had to close this thread.
