Hi, My thought was that it was simple evolution, much like this game is an evolution of the frogger concept. The rabbit is a step up in evolution to the frog, hence the connection. Too bad I did not try for the code giveaway, probably wrong in my thought anyways. David

Quick update... Well between Memorial Day weekend and WWDC it looks like the peeps at the mothership are busy, busy , busy and so our game sits in the queue "Waiting for Review" Thought to upload some screens to tide everyone over but that'd giveaway some fairly significant changes/improvements made over the past month What else is news? iPad version coming together. 2 weeks give or take. Inching ever closer! App has advanced in the queue. Now officially IN REVIEW. Barring a rejection it should be out in a few days time! So a bit more info about some of the improvements in the time since we first showed the preview video..... 1. Improved Graphics and Controls (with options to suit everyone, swipers, dpaders, lefties and right). 2. A complete overhaul of the theme, story and main characters 3. and this is the big one........A new name! I know, WTF right!? hehe. A few surprises there to be sure - but nothing compared to the game itself! We started making apps in 2008 and like many of you guys scrutinize every new release in the app-store, and while it remains to be seen if _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ is to peoples liking, of this much we are 1000% sure;- there is NOTHING even remotely similar to this game in the store, and for that much alone we are extremely proud of our team and our partners Tangible Games for their efforts. See you on the other side
So my guess wasn't entirely off then? Though, rather than the characters being changed due to legal reasons, it was more for creative reasons to distance yourself with a more unique property. Either way, I took a stab at the characters being changed up entirely. And I even posted that video about the first person bunny game Jumping Flash when you brought up the idea for a frog based fps. Coincidence?(yep)
I don't think you'll have much to worry about. The game is great, lots of polish, entertaining gameplay, and lots of one-more-go aspects to keep you motivated. This'll be front page material when it hits the App Store. (Well, it already was in its former incarnation, but now people will be able to buy it.)

So the symbol on his chest is a rabbit's head, a b for banzai, and an upside down/reversed r for rabbit. Shockingly creative symbol for an indie game superhero, I have to say.
