And for the french one too! It's so easier to play. That's the reason why i stop playing at king of the dragon pass. Too hard for my average english. I noted that subtitles option (cc button) isn't "recorded" when i shutdown the game. I have to click on it each time i play. It's the same for the difficulty button. What a pleasure to play such a good game!
The perspective makes battle with lots of guys in it nearly impossible to see what is going on when you are surrounded. Not enough changed were made to the interface to make the game play better on touch screens. Very pretty but does not feel good to play.
How's the text size on iphone 5c? I push through too many good games with microscopic text (such as xcom) and I can't keep doing the squinty eye thing. Will def check it out as long as I don't have to struggle to read.
It only sucks when you're trying to go through the camp and camp menus. The story parts are ok. I don't have perfect vision and I'm ok so far. If you enable zoom in your settings you can get by for sure. Not ideal but the game is really really good otherwise
For what it's worth sir, though you may find it easier or more pleasurable in another language, I have to say your English is excellent. I have seen native English speakers with worse spelling and grammar than you. Bravo!
I have enjoyed playing this game so far. A storybook game with tactical combat cut scenes in-between. I have an iPhone 6 plus and I think that a little more could have been done with the text size. The story scenes, the text is a little small, but not a big problem. Plenty of room to have made it larger, though. The tactical battles, the numbers above the unit showing defense and strength are really tiny to me. I can make them out, but it is not easy to assess things at a glance. The tutorial text was also quite small, but that isn't a big deal since it doesn't last for long. I've played for a couple of hours. I think I can make it through with the slightly smaller than comfortable text. The battles and units are otherwise quite playable.
I wont say much abt game nor im going to describe it much. But I'll sum up the game in just ONE word.................MASTERPIECE however,is there anyway to turn-off parallax effect?
just posting to let anyone interested know, i'm downloading it for iphone 4s. Some people here and on the internet in general say it's too small, others say it is not too small. I've been browsing for opinions these last 2 days, but i thought what the hell, one less pizza is all it costs, and for sure i want it for my ipad mini 3 when i have it, so... Will post my own impressions tomorrow on how it plays.
^ It's really personal preference at this point. If you can get by with it then that's great, keep playing! If not then.. well that's where the problem comes in. Feel free to share your impressions as well.
It's a pleasure, thanks, to hear you. It's so hard to express myself in another language. That night i've played this game a lot, and it was so great. Varls, humans, old stones... I hope a lot of people will play this game and like it. It can be compared to a book, deep and interesting.
I.....can't....put....it.....down...... I have my tablet glued to me. My three year old has been helping make some decisions lol
As promised, impressions on my iphone 4s screen for anyone interested. Graphics, Story and Sound : i think we all agree that they are beautiful, even on a 4s the characters look great and animated. With the camera zooming and dragging you will have no problem seeing the battlefield or getting your warriors where you want them to go. And with confirmation on every action, even a misstap can be corrected. The only thing that bothers me is the parallax effect, especially when i'm playing lying down. Loading : most loadings take around 10 seconds, but i came across one when we left the first city, that took one whole minute. And now to the text. I find it ok. Sure, it could be larger, but everything is readable objectively (think Appstore apps description size). The only tiny text is the description of the abilities in battle. For this, i couldn't take a screenshot of my phone's screen (if my phone could do that we would call the pic a "phonie") But i did the next best thing for you: Go to your MS Word or similar writer, and type in : The shield hits adjacent targets for 2 strength damage. Make it Type New Roman, font size 4 (yes four), print it, and put it on your iphone. If you can read this in your normal "gaming position", you are good to go. I hope this helps other people decide for themselves.
I'm playing this on the retina iPad mini and I just realized I have some sort of dev mode in the top corner. Anyone else get this? I can quicksave/skip fights/command prompt/other things. I can't seem to remove it.
