I just played about an hour on my 5s and I can honestly say it looks beautiful. It looks and plays just how one should imagine a game of this calibur that costs $10 should play. The visuals and text were very easy to read.. some text options MAY be hard to press, but the core gameplay has very large and easy to press buttons. Overall worth the buy after playing on my 5s.
Naive question of the day, for those who are playing it: How does this compare to Ravenmark: Scourge of Estellion? That's still in my backlog, and even though this looks great and has a tremendous hype machine around it, I'd like to get more information about it in general from people who might have played both titles. -- and saying "it's like apples and oranges" is acceptable, though there would seem to be some similarities What's really special about this game?
I saw a 'cc' option, assuming that means subtitles. It's alot better trust me. Think of this as an extremely successful pc game that did very well on kickstarter, compared to a relatively successful iphone game.
Thank you very much! this is great news as i bought card dungeon first thing today, and i have to squint / can't see some descriptions.. but if Banner Saga is easy to read as you say, it's perfect!
I have a question about gameplay. I see some mixed reactions. Some say combat is fun and deep, still others say the opposite: it's tedious, slow, boring and lacking depth. Anyone care to comment?
Offtoptic: have you tried double tapping ui elements in that game? Tap once to select, say: a card and the tap it again to enlarge. It's been explained at the beginning of the game I think.
I have played this on PC and aside from a few issues where you can gimp your characters this is s very solid game, if it is as good as on PC just buy it.
No worries! Apart from the 1.5 hours to download to each device due to my cruddy Internet it was all good fun. Still putting the 6 through its paces... impressive bit of kit I must say.
How does one save the game? I cannot seem to figure out how to save the game. Any help would be much appreciated. [edit]: Ah, never mind -- it saves automatically.
Will this game be coming to Android? I'd much rather play this type of game on my tablet than my small iPhone.
