Is this game working fine on an ipad air, ios 8.2?

 

A lot of games aren't well written. It's really more important to have a good story than a beautiful game. Maybe you can't appreciate the game because of visuals, but for me i don't care at all about that. Visuals could even be less beautiful. But they are, in this case, not boring at all, from my point of view.

 

chess, checkers, monopoly, risk, settlers of catan, ticket to ride, every final fantasy game, every shining force game, super mario RPG, chrono trigger, most dungeons and dragons games, anything sid meier ever made, hearthstone, disgaea.



Turn based garbage.

any games workshop game, any iron kingdoms/warmachine game, pretty much any casino game, most roguelikes, neuroshima hex, outwitters, hero academy.

 

Does this have iCloud save?

 

Yes but you have to choose Quit from the menu rather than just close the app.

i see the icloud document created, but my iphone 6 never recognizes that i have a current game going on the ipad

 

How does it play on the iPhone 5s. Really like the look of this.

 

Just read the touch arcade review and something came up in the comments which made me think twice. Even if you turn on captions in the menu, are there sections of the game that are voice only?

 

I'm on last chapter (trying to refrain to complete it) and so far I never got any voiced cutscene without captions.
I've read that comment too but I just think he is wrong or better...he didn't notice that the caption setting is reset if you exit and reenter the game (it's a known bug).
So as long you remember to set cc on before you load a game you are ok.
There aren't that many voiced cutscenes too.

Said that, the game is freaking fantastic. One of the best I ever played on any platform, any time.

 

Is it something like Bastion? Sorry for the dump question but i never heard of this game before, and from the screenshots I think its similar.

 

Thanks Pitta, that eases my concerns. What about the save system. Read a few concerns with not being explicit, so one would sometimes go back to battles they had previously played through?
