I knew I saw Gamaga before... you guys made Follow the Rabbit, a great game that I played from beginning to the end. And now this... added to my "dev watch list" You will have a blast with Banana Kong, for sure!
Can't wait! That avalanche of bananas coming after Kong reminds me a little of the end of the universe in Time Surfers!
Wow, artwork looks great. I was really hoping this was similar to the Mine Cart Carnage sections of Donkey Kong though, not a fan of endless runners.
Thank you @early players for sharing your positive impressions. It's great to hear you like the game. It was a long road ..lots of fine tuning, balancing, etc. Here are some tips to win big: - Use the power-dash while hanging on vines to reach treetop area anytime. - Swipe down while jumping in the air for quick fall and high-bounce on flowers and trees - Use Power-Dash while riding the Boar to overcome obstacles without losing energy - Try to reach the boar or the toucan for lots of Bananas. Have fun!!
LOL was playing and saw my record ahead, then smashed into it... didnt know that was possible. Just happened to me too... Toucan is the first to upgrade it seems, that double and triple coins + magnet upgrades is going to gather so many coins
Wow, Follow the rabbit is one of my favorite puzzle games, guess I'm going to have to do some more research on this one.
Feel the same way about Follow the Rabbit, a bit easy but well made. Been playing this all day nonstop and I can say nw that Banana Kong is one of my favorite endless runners ever. Its awesome. If you like or have been tempted by endless runners, this is the one to get.
it seems like there's only one env (2 if you include the underground)? Stylish Sprint is way above in my endless running category ranking but this one might be fun for a while.
Played it a little so far and it's pretty decent but I feel like the controls need some work its not very smooth and fluid. It's a little clunky which I guess fits since its a gorilla but it needs to respond quicker and more smoothly. There's just something there that just doesn't feel right like other endless runners the controls need work. It's pretty fun though.
Ha!! Yesterday or the day before on the Android store there was a new game 'released' called Donkey Kong Country and also Donkey Kong. I was, like WHAT? Clicked on them and they both said 'Error' and there was nothing there. DID get my attention for a few seconds, I admit. Picking this up with no pretense of similarities in my mind, though. Looks fun!
