If you're going to play the whole series start to finish, remember to keep the gold pantaloons, and take the time to find all of the stat raising tomes before you import your character to BG2

Not just any old update. Now available for iPhone! Oh my freak! Lol at I just got baldurs gate 1 the other week, right before the sale, haven't played it, and now this is out.
Eh I bought Icewind Dale and made a real effort to get caught up in it but I never got hooked. I am on a 6 plus too if that matters.
Is it difficult to see on 6+? I've got ipad but I haven't finished first yet... I tried first one on my 5s and it was a struggle
6+ is quite ok. Pretty sure in settings you can increase text size. Makes it more than ample on 6+. I'd imagine 5 would be a struggle regardless.
I tried to update yesterday, several hours after the update was out but couldn't. Now I don't have an update notification or history of yesterday's update. Did the update get pulled or maybe a glitch on my end? Just wanted to check before deleting (and losing my progress) and reinstalling. My title screen says V1.3.2064 Edit: not that anyone gives a crap, but I was able to update via iTunes
All right, just bought it! I played this when i was a kid, really great game! One question: what exactly are these Iap's? I just want to play it like in good old times, so do i need them for that? Can't figure out if they were in the original game...

I bought one of the characters and was pretty underwhelmed. I recommend you play with the stock characters.
Does this one have the hideous "if you minimize the sidebar, I hope you like reloading" bug? Or does it take the Icewind Dale approach (aka not broken)? I've still been waiting for them to fix Baldur's Gate 1's minimize bug. I mean how hard can it be, they know the problem, and they already fixed it for Icewind Dale. Come on Beamdog, push a damned fix for Baldur's Gate 1 already. I gave up playing it on my iPhone 5 because of that glitch. I played the hell out of Icewind Dale (near flawless game btw!), but want to take a more story oriented approach with Baldur's Gate and relive my childhood. That bug is the make or break on my buying Baldur's Gate 2, since I already own (and was forced to shelve) Baldur's Gate 1. PLEASE tell me they at least fixed it for Baldur's Gate 2.
Anyone? Sitting on the fence about buying it until someone can confirm it doesn't have the same interface problems as Baldur's Gate 1. Feedback would be appreciative.
Sorry for delay. I had to make some room to reinstall it. That bug is fixed. The bar minimizes, but tapping the gem at the bottom of the screen brings it right back.
