on a lighter note, i discovered the cheesiest way to defeat Firkraag ever:

    1) Aggro Firkraag and get him to chase you back until you leave the room. You may have to endure some flame breaths and such but that's easy with all the fire resist equipment you get in the dungeon
    2) The area before Firkraag's lair is not wide enough to fit Firkraag where your character(s) exit. So instead, Firkraag will spawn behind the table in the middle of the room. He can't get past this table. Apparently, tables are like kryptonite for dragons. If you had a table leg as a weapon, it would probably get +100 against dragons.
    3) You are actually out of his line of sight here, so you can save and then rest 8 hours. No more stoneskin or other buffs on Firkraag! If he casts other annoying buffs, just back up until he can't see you, then sleep again.
    4) Shoot him to death from afar. That +5 Sling from The Copper Coronet is handy.

After playing the game for a short while.. I notice it's kinda difficult to control the fights maybe I am doing it wrong.. I also have problem identifying items especially spells.. U need to hold and let go to know the description.. I miss the mouse hover as per PC...
Maybe it's a problem of ported games.. But this little things kinda take away the fun factor of a casual gamer..

There is a bug in the planisphere prison. Stuck there can't get out. After finishing and releasing the prisoners they don't send you back but keep giving you the reward. Any help? On how to get out???

I'm the same way - I have a full-size iPad and even though I don't have the games the screenshots look like everything is too tiny.

It really isn't. Totally playable on a full size iPad, and You can even zoom in, if You want.

I'm up to the circus tent. Do I have to do this quest as it's bugged isn't it?

Next. Where is a temple or healer for a dead character I have? I'm in the town there must be a healer or temple some where?

Firstly, some people say there is a bug in the circus tent, many more, including me, got through it with no problems. The game is tough, so the choice is yours as to what level you play at. And save often! No optional quest is compulsory.
Leave whatever district you are in and select the temple district from the city map, explore a bit till you find a temple (Helm, I believe), select dead character and the raise from yhe dead option. I'm mot sure of the exact menu wording, but it's obvious once ypu find it.

Found the healer in a tiny room and got my character resurrected. Now for the tent!

Killed both dragons, made every piece of custom equipment, got the Ring of Gaxx off of Kangaxx, and killed Bodhi. Now it's on to the last chapter.

Third time through this game in the last 15 years, and although the interface is far inferior to a mouse interface, the ability to play it anywhere puts the ipad version way ahead of the computer version.

Now if I could only find a way to disable: "You must gather your party before venturing forth." It's the only audible warning in the game and, man, am I tired of hearing it.

    Amen to that right there.

I was hesitant to purchase, but being a newbie (to Baldur's Gate) I'm loving this game. Small interface issues, some learning curves, but with an outside guide or two things are looking up! Well into questing on Chapter 2 with a full party.

Try to see if bg2 tweaks will remove that. It has the option, and I have tweaks installed but not that since I don't play with volume on anyway.

    Hi all,
I am so stuck on Nalia's Quest. De'Arnise Keep. I cannot figure out how to get inside it.
I have been all around, found Nalia at the stockade, spoken to everybody.
I get to the secret entrance, then into a tiny room with a locked door. But...nobody can unlock the door!
    Help please.

as far as I remember there is another hidden door in this room which should normaly be tagged? Not sure but ye I guess so.

    I also have a problem:

someone knows where I can find Cabrina after I completed Hexxat's quest for the panther claw?
I've googled it and many PC players just spawned her with a console command. Wasn't rly helpfull at all. I also visited the graveyard at night but to no avail.

you can force locks open if you have someone with good strength! or a strength potion or spell. just have your person "attack" the door or chest. that door in particular should give to someone with 18, i know for sure

If your thief can't open the door, a knock spell should do the trick.

    Just found a big bug.

If you explore Watcher's Keep prior to TOB, the holy symbol will disappear from your inventory when you begin TOB, which will make it impossible to finish that particular treasure-packed dungeon.

This also happens in the desktop version, but THEY have access to the console to restore lost items.

As far as I know, there is no workaround so stay the hell out of there until you start the expansion.

You don't have to do the circus tent but you get one of the best characters in the game for doing so (assuming you're not playing someone too evil). It is bugged, but not as severely as some have said- basically some enemies in there which are meant to be illusions are actually very real and can one hit kill you. However, because they're meant to be illusions you can just quickly cast dispel magic on them or you can even kill them the old fashioned way (though doing so will take at least a few attempts, as you have to down them before they can get a hit in).
