I may be wrong but I think the IAP for characters was already contained within the game download in the first game if I remember correctly, you paid to unlock them but they seemed only a unlock rather than an additional download. I've deleted and redownloaded the game without ever needing to restore purchase...
Thanks for the info. Anyone know how the export is going to work. Do 1 and 2 need to both be on my device at the same time? Or is it able to be done via cloud?
Next time you sync with iTunes, scroll down and have a look in the file sharing box and lo and behold, there is BG
True, but not with itunes. I do it using ifunbox in classic mode, piece of cake. Have done that all year and presumably it will work for BG2 as well. Sorry about the double post
It looks like there is no direct export from BGEE via iTunes. This worried me until I tapped the export button within the app as I had done several times before. This time, however, an iOS window appeared that gave me the chance to email the newly exported character to myself - presumably for future import to BG2. I don't remember this happening before...
