I hope so. I kind of figured it was a given for Editor's Choice considering BGII is universally considered one of the top RPG's of all time across any platform (many lists have it at #1 of all time). BGI also had very solid sales.
I'm sure this is a well covered topic but while we wait, other than included DLC with the Mac version, is there any compelling pros/cons to make one version more playable than the other? I have the Mac version of both, and I bought them thinking iCloud save would let me move between the Mac and iPad versions pretty seamlessly but I guess that's not in place yet (and may never be). So, your thoughts? I've been waiting to start the games until BG2 is out on iPad and seems to be pretty solid/bug-free.
I have original copies for PC from way way back when. For me I want them for ipad just so I can play whenever wherever. Never been much for modding either so ee version made sense.

I do hope that they used IOS 7 comp.. with the App rule change for 2/1/2014 Otherwise, any other update will get rejected.. (Just posted that in the IPhone section, since people are complaining that the Min Req = IOS 7 now these days)
So are you guys planning on importing chars from BG1into the sequel? If so, I'm curious as to what builds people are using?
The Kensai / Mage Dual Class seems to be pretty popular; it's what I used 15ish years ago and I will probably use it again.
That's what I decided to go with too. Focused on 2h sword and 2h weapon skill. My guys only level 6 and I've been enjoying this char much more than my cleric/ranger...but it was slow going after changing to the Mage class until regaining the Kensai abilities. Now, I really like carrying around a 2h sword to cut guys in half while under the mirror image spell.
Yeah, I remember feeling squeezed waiting for my Kensai abilities to return. When I played it so many years ago, I put 5 stars in Katana and then went after the Celestial Fury that's on a hostile NPC somewhere in town (can't remember where). That thing was wickedly overpowered.
Yes, i've seen it too, not surprised though, people starts to loosing patience. I would be quiet if Trent would reply every day how the things goes with Apple, but replying once per two or three days, is not enough to keep people satisfied.
It was because a couple of kids started having tantrums in the thread. It was painful to watch how upset people can be and turn into complete arseholes because a game is delayed. They started whole conspiracy theories accusing Trent and co. of all kinds of ridiculous stuff.
