Trent just announced on Twitter that IAP was approved and BG2 should be hitting soon!

It's very strange. When I poke around using iExplore I can find all of my exported characters but none of them are in the App's Documents folder, which, presumably, is where they would have to be to show up in iTunes.

Its in the Library folder I believe.

I expected the saves to be accessible from iTunes, Apps tab. But its not!

 

I'm with you on that one. Try exporting your character now and you should be able to email it to yourself. Kind of a weird workaround if you ask me.

EDIT: Man whatever is happening with this game releasing is cruel.
