I did it!!! That run was epic!! So much fun. My Jokers all worked together. Having one that made all cards act as face cards. Then most of the others all did something with face cards. All my hands were like 20k on ante 7 and 8. This game is just incredible. I unlocked so much stuff in that round. I can’t wait to play again.
I’ve had 2 wins so far, one with the blue deck and one with the nebula deck. I won’t explain it because spoilers but it has a very interesting bonus that forces you down a very particular route, but is very effective when the situation suits that route! The problem is when a boss blind throws a spanner in that routes works. This game is dangerous!
I’m trying to remember where I did that! I think it was from nebula deck tomfoolery but it must have been after my 1st win with it as it’s on red stake difficulty.

Ya, that was a blast! And I know exactly how I did it. What cards and jokers I used. For the Million point hand, I actually set myself up for that. The main thing I had to do for my highest hands, was save a nice 2 pair, hopefully AA and 2 face. Then save it for my last hand which got 3xmultiplier. But I also had 3 uncommon jokers which gave me 1.5x multiplier each. My final hands, (if I could even save for a final, as even small hands were getting me 150k), I would get between 600k-1mill plus. I’m sure you can get even higher. Much higher. Just need a better hand with crazy multiplier and the right jokers…. My go to cards are planets. I had my 2 pair at level 18 by the end. Love this game. May be slightly too addictive lol

Yeah, maybe. He always beats me in puzzle games (I consider Balatro part puzzle) I tell him about, though, like the time he crushed me in Million Onion Hotel. Ha ha

I'm hooked on Balatro. And I absolutely haven't won a single game This is gonna be one of those games where I enjoy it but I suck at it huh?
Screen time stats show I've used the app for over 14 hours (~13 hours of gameplay?), and still not a single victory. In my latest run I had a Lv.14 Flush and I needed 35K pts for my last hand. My Flush got me 27K and I lost. (ಥ﹏ಥ)
New record for best hand for me and got a win with blue deck ! Keep going guy, just need to learn how combos work and you ll win
