it took me a week to beat especially because i got so distracted in running around each town helping people on the street and causing trouble and fighting in the arena and searching around for treasure and messing with a few prostitutes and just basically exploring the environment and yes it has a very good open world element to it this game is fun even without playing the story
the length is very respectable and trust me you will be doing so many side mission and exploring each town so much the game will take a while to beat unless u sit there for hours without stopping but i would say i played about 2 to 3 hours a day and it took me 6 days to finish and after betting u can still run around and travel towns doing missions or looking for treasures or just causing hell seeing how long u can last but as i said before if i didnt love fps games this would be my favorite gameloft game so far
i really want to buy the game but in the trailer i can see a lot of bugs which make me say no to gameloft games , also uncharted is a big fail it has a lot of bugs and repetitive gameplay , hope this will not be like shadow g ...

yes i was surprised and impressed at the depth of this game gameloft really stepped there game up, playing this this game gives me alot of hope that gangstar 3 should be great i hope they use unreal engine for it
Basically, it's a lot like Red Dead Redemption + Assassins Creed, with a Pirate skin? Nice! I wonder what ever happened to Gameloft adding iPad 2 optimizations? They did it for the latest Asphalt and nothing else. Disappointing, since they previewed Backstab and March of Heroes on iPad 2's at E3... Is it sad that out of Silent Ops and 9mm, that I want Silent Ops more?
Right on! Backstab seems like a swashbuckling good time. Silent Ops seems to be getting no love, so it's great others feel the same
Looks like it's using some animations from Shadow Guardian. Man if this is trying to rip Assassin's Creed, at least rip their amazing animations. The animations here look pretty cringeworthy. Look at the stab animation, sword is randomly clips out...
I think the games don't release before 6-7 hours from now in NZ. Anyway, looking forward to the releases this week especially from GL... Hoping Backstab is as good as it looks like.
