While I was a bit disappointed to find out that there is no block button, and no advanced set of maneuvers (I had truly hoped this would be one of the first truly skill-based and sophisticated melee simulations for iOS) and that combat, as a result, is yet another hackfest, this is probably still one of the most exciting releases on my wishlist. I like Gameloft's Apple-like strategy: don't hype it until it is ready to be released. Instead of waiting for months for many titles, they appear out of nowhere, only a few days from availability.
Really? I would exactly call 2 months a few days. Or say that when it has been rumored for ages that this would be out before months end.
Hence "Apple-like", not an exact copy of Apple's release strategy. What I am partial to is that regardless of rumors, speculation and early previews, Gameloft refrain from posting speculative dates, and when they actually announce the release date, it is very close at hand. This separates them from many (though certainly not all) other iOS devs.
Yes! Horses!! Shame they're using the same, over-used ledges that you have to shuffle left and right on and jump between. It's basically a boring, slightly interactive cut-scene!
Wowsa. Almost pretty enough to make me forget about the lack of a block button and advanced combat mechanics...
Wow. That's amazing. I never expected that out of Gameloft. IMO it looks better than their Unreal game from current footage. This is compatible with 3rd gen devices right?
finally good to hear that everyone will get a chance to enjoy this game in 2 days i have given all the info that is needed to know about the game except the storyline so get ready to run the town ios gamers ,even though ive already beaten the game i will still get this for my iphone 4 thats how much i enjoyed it but if anyone has questions about it just ask
Reviews of the Android version seems to support this. Open world, albeit with rather linear missions.
