However, the developers are saying they are interested in porting to other devices such as the switch, ios, and android if the kickstarter does well enough. The game is a rogue lite loot builder that follows a female rat named Purse. She travels throughout a randomly generated dungeon defeating creatures and collecting loot. Edit: The game now also has a story mode on 1.0 release with meta progression. The backpack mechanic has a unique take where you upgrade the space of the backpack to fit several looted items that give you special abilities depending on the the loots ability or placement of the loot. The kickstarter is to allow them to polish, add loads of new content and port a fully flesh version of the game to steam. I moved this to upcoming iOS since they do mention wanting to do it, even if it doesn't end up happening.
Their kickstarter goal of $20,000 has been reached in 2 Days. $10,000 more and the switch port will be funded. The odds of an IOS and Android port have greatly increased I believe. Edit: Nintendo Switch stretch goal has been reached! $70,000
Well, it looks like their kickstarter completed every stretch goal they had on their list and then some with over $220,000. Their main goal was $20,000. Odds of a Mobile version is very likely. It may be awhile before we see the iOS version come to fruition. Some time after the steam version. But I think an iOS/ android version of the game will happen. The developer said it will take about a year for the newly revised content filled Pc/Mac version to be fully released. *Also as a note. The developer said, If anyone is interested in the steam version or the game in general, there may be a period where the new content will only be available for backers while the game is being developed. Again, this development process may take about a year to complete. The free itch.io version will remain but will not receive any more content updates.
Hope it’s better than the Switch version, which I’ve avoided due to all the bugs and lost saves I’ve heard about.
Since Touch Arcade is closing, I might as well post an update on this game one more time. Just in case the game doesn’t come out before the forum closes . It’s been quite awhile since my last post. The switch version got a patch to fix the dreaded save bug. And the mobile port has been in development for a while and jas said that there should be news soon from the porting team about its release, hopefully. So keep an eye out, I don’t think it will be much longer.
