Refreshingly irreverent story in chapter one, a break from the usual fantasy prattle. Starting Chapter 2 which is structured differently. So it’s looking promising. Combat has an energy generation system to add interest. Turns were bit of a chore till I discovered the auto-turn option in settings. Would be better switched on by default, or make players aware in the tutorial. The combat screen is empty – just the background art. I can make gray panels flicker into existence by swiping, but the center panel just disappears after a brief moment. Any ideas on resolving? Changelog: • Chapter 4: changed all images of the ship and of the city of Vorsall, along with some minor text fixes and bug fixes. • When you Pick-Lock a Treasure and it goes in cool-down, treasures for which you have a key, or that are already unlocked, won't go in cool-down with it anymore (this change was asked by a lot of users!) • Increased the chance of getting a higher rank Item by 40%. Also, increased the Master of Items chance to get a higher rank Item from 15% to 30%. • Fixed a rare bug that could generate a Rank 4 Armor by mistake (the Max Rank should be 3) • Fixed a bug that permitted a player to get infinite honor during the Missing Cat mission (the exploit was actually clever though) • Improved accessibility for players that use Voiceover. I also wanted to ask: have you ever experienced a crash on Azmar? Because I've noticed some sporadic iOS crash reports related to the audio. Maybe with this version I might have fixed them, but I'm not sure. For example, a sword attack will have a slashing sound, a spell attack will have a magic sound, a shield attack will have a shield sound, and so on. You need to turn on the option called Skill-Specific Sounds. For now, the default option is off. Let me know what you think about them, If you like it I may actually set this feature to be on by default. Also, for online players, I have expanded the Global Chat! You can now see who's online, send friend requests and create Dungeon or 2v2 Groups! When an enemy in a Dungeon is defeated, all support skills of all players reset. For example, if you use a support skill with a 4-turn cooldown and an enemy is killed, that support skill, along with all others, will reset and be available again. This change will slightly reduce the difficulty of encounters against 2 or 3 enemies, and make the support role stronger and slightly more technical. Now, the Toxin only halves the player's health instead of instantly killing them. This makes the Dungeon more challenging when it triggers, but not impossible. Also, who knows, the Clown Box might make a return in a future mission! PS: For those who don’t know what the Clown Box is, by clicking it you can receive 1 of 6 possible prizes, some of which are obviously better than others: a map of the Dungeon, a power-up, infectious worms, a random bag of gold, the Toxin I mentioned, or the box explodes. It gives tips and some free gold, so they can buy a potion to beat him. With limited skills at the start, and not knowing how to play Azmar Quest yet, I think this could really help new players. Let them feel comfortable and confident and then stab them in the back. On a serious note, that might help avoid players from bouncing off early due to difficulty, so your decision is quite the right approach. Sevan likes this. The biggest change is probably the complete redesign of the images in Chapter 5 and Extra Mission 5 (The Hyperion Riot) along with some bug fixes and text fixes. Another significant change includes two new features: Item Rank Boost to upgrade items and Armor Star Boost to add a star to an armor, increasing its max rank. I’ve also added Chat History in Dungeons and a new feature called Reunite Party. Oh, and now you can send 2v2 and Dungeon invites even if the other player is already in queue. And for new players, most encounters in Azmar Forest, so in Chapter 2 and the Extra Mission, now grant extra experience. Note: I should've released this update way earlier, but I recently got two little kittens. They're adorable, but a lot of work!
