Check. It's using the same engine so check. Check, but AL2 may be using the 'HD Version' method so that it can better support the iPad 3 Retina display. Glad to see you got a 3GS! The next update should iron out any further 3GS issues it had.
Aiming for July/August for AL2. Has maps, power-ups, varied worlds... These free promotions were a gamble to get more people on board so that AL2 can make back its budget. Another 2 platformers are being developed alongside it, one hoping to be released before AL2.
