I personally enjoy the Avernum series much more than the Avadon series - this is probably because of the difference between Blades of Avernum which I really enjoyed, and Avadon, which I found a bit boring. Blades has much fastee combat and it doesn't take an age to walk somewhere, since you can hold a key down to walk in that direction without having to wait on the animation. Combat too, was much faster in Blades. Click means attack, not click, wait for long animation, attack. I personally enjoy the Avernum series much more than the Avadon series - this is probably because of the difference between Blades of Avernum which I really enjoyed, and Avadon, which I found a bit boring. Blades has much fastee combat and it doesn't take an age to walk somewhere, since you can hold a key down to walk in that direction without having to wait on the animation. Combat too, was much faster in Blades. Click means attack, not click, wait for long animation, attack.
