The point of "diminishing returns" is pretty dreadful, even by "Farmville" logic. If you're doing ANYTHING other than a 20-minute mission, it should only be because you know you won't be able to 'refresh' the flights during that period of time. (3-minute is TECHNICALLY the best return ratio, but it doesn't factor in the time lost to collect and redeploy. 20 is the best ratio to keep your sanity, because two 20s are better than one 60 minute mission.)
Flame ON! My hulk just hit for over 600. It was crazy. Just had to say something about it. As to "whats the point of leveling your characters if they dont really gain anything", There is something wrong with my brain that says its just not RIGHT to bring a guy into battle and let XP get wasted! If there is a bar that can be filled up, i MUST fill it up! Human Torch has some pretty nifty abilities to make burning people more fun. Could be another good possible PVP tactic. Hulk is just so ridiculous hehehe.
If anything I'm waiting on silver coins rather than shield points. I always seem to have more than enough of those. I currently have the following without ever running out of shield points: Iron Man - Lvl 6 Dr Strange - Lvl 6 Spiderman - Lvl 6 Captain America - Lvl 6 Hawkeye - Lvl 5 Black Widow - Lvl 5 Wolverine - Lvl 5 Thor - Lvl 4 Level 6 costs almost 9000 coins. That's what's killing me. I constantly have to keep sending heroes out on remote ops missions to get enough. As far as the shield points I just get my 50 a day and so far that seems to be enough to keep me ahead. Maybe once I get my heroes up a little higher I might start having problems. Plus, I imagine the silver cost gets pretty ridiculous as it seems like it keeps doubling after each level.
I wish! I wish I had the problem of too many SHIELD points...I have: Iron Man - 6 Black Widow - 3 ready to train Hawkeye -3 ready to train Cap - 3 Dr. Strange - 5 Hulk - 4 Mr Fantastic - 2 (accidently bought him, was SO pissed!) Thor -2 ready to train 3 shield points
That will probably have to be my next purchase. I have a little over 100 CP saved but I'm not sure if I want to buy Hulk or one of the suits for one of my current heroes... Anyone have suggestions on suits?
If I could give you some I would... Do you have enough Allies to get your 50 shield points a day? Also, under your allies screen you can collect rewards once a day. I'm not sure what the percentage is but every once in a while it gives you shield points. So the more allies you have the more chances you'll have to get extra shield points beyond your 50 a day. I have about 90 allies and still adding more. Out of those 90 I get a good 35 or so extra a day. Hope that helps.
Yea I keep adding allies every day. Its just part of the game, I just wish there was a way to grind SHIELD points hehehe
That's the problem with investing in a team of ALL heavy-hitters, I think. For the cost of one 90 CP character you can get the entire roster of 15 CP characters and almost enough for one of the 22s. Even if you don't plan on ever using them, they can pilot a jet. Waste the Tapjoy gold. Get more jets unlocked. Get your airlines going. Log in a couple times an hour to reset the 20-minute flights, if you can. Training costs: To Level 2: 12 CP / 550 Silver / 3 Minutes (or 4 Gold to Rapid Train) To Level 3: 13 CP / 1,100 Silver / 15 Minutes (or 6 Gold) To Level 4: 15 CP / 2,200 Silver / 30 Minutes (or 10 Gold) To Level 5: 18 CP / 5,500 Silver / 1 Hour (or 15 Gold) To Level 6: 22 CP / 8,900 Silver / 2 Hours (or 25 Gold) To Level 7: 26 CP / 16,500 Silver / 4 Hours (or 35 Gold) To Level 8: 32 CP / 33,200 Silver / 8 Hours (or 48 Gold) And then it's somewhere around 55,000 / 110,000 / 220,000 / 330,000 for the final four levels. I upgraded to eight jets early on and have been running them consistently. I currently have a nest egg of close to 600,000 Silver, and that's WITHOUT playing the game to complete excess. (I can't, I'm stuck at work ten hours a day!) As for my insane level-up backlog, I just remind myself that unless I actually use some ISO-8, a Character seems to have identical strength at Level 2, 3, 4 or 5, and learn to live with it.
All the ones that are busy need training too. All are level 3 or higher. I have SHEILD but enough to train maybe 2 more. Sigh and by the end of the day they will need to be trained again
Oof, that final battle against Sabertooth in Level 4 is hard. I've gone through maybe 12 fights with him and no luck. Anyone have an idea / trick / hint? I'm level 44 scrapper, I've run a variety of team combos and I am getting nowhere. (I took down the mini bosses first, so he's alone).
Just wait, lol. My main character is level 55, my hulk only level 4 and hit a guy for 2000+ when probably powered up. Gotta love hulk smash. Got any bruisers to take in to the battle?
Got any bruisers to take in to the battle?[/QUOTE] Just Hulk. He does well enough, but he gets taken out almost completely in the first fight. My Doctor Strange will be leveled to 8 in two hours, haha, so my all star team will try again then.
That's happened to me. When you attack, there's the little slide out window on the right side. Cick that open and you can then select the invisible character manually.
