Bonus costumes always grant built-in buffs. I generally go with one movie Avenger costume, and as already mentioned Hawkeye's is the one to buy since he has no real built-in ability beyond Sure Shot. Two isn't necessary because once you've equipped your Agent with two or more counter attack weapons you get that 1-in-8 or so chance for a counter for each one slotted. That way you're not limited to only movie Avengers and can go with Dr. Strange or whomever is getting it done for you. By the way that Sure Shot ability of Hawkeye's is gold once you've unlocked his fourth ability. It turns into Master Marksman which will often net you 2-4 extra attacks on his target. Meaning if you Iso him up for strength he'll sometimes kill bosses in one turn if you get four shots in a row out of him.
Bought the WW2 Tactician Cap and Modern Thor and I am crushing enemies. What is the hero level cap? It's getting expensive... and my Agent sucks any suggestions how to gear him?
Which modern armor version did you get? Blaster or Bruiser? I was considering that setup as well. I believe the hero level cap is 12 if I'm not mistaken. I think I've seen that somewhere. As far as your agent... I have no clue. Mine sucks too. I never have any luck on the missions to pick up good weapons. I always end up getting a health pack or something stupid... It's getting kind of annoying...
I've been using the heck out of Tapjoy and I've managed to get Cap, Thor, Wolverine, Spidey and Dr Strange. To be honest, the hero I'm mostly impressed with is Dr Strange and he's not even a 90CP hero. Wolverine has a high crit rate and he's fun to use. Spidey hardly ever takes any damage especially if you add evasion ISO to him. He has yet to die on me. However, his attacks have been pretty weak. Thor frustrates me a little. When you can manage to get him buffed up with his second attack his next attack is pretty massive. My only problem is that he is way to slow. He is always at the end of the turn and by then the other team is already nailing me. I've been avoiding using him just because of that. Maybe there is a suit that makes him better. Not sure. Dr Strange is awesome. His first attack just does a ton of damage. I'd be interested to try out Hulk. Maybe he'd be a better Bruiser than Thor.
Hulk is VERY powerful. I'm doing well in the big fights with a Defenders team - my Scrapper Agent, Hulk and Doctor Strange. Strange's level 3 is a marvelous all enemy attack that's good damage, can't be avoided, always hits and does magic damage for three turns. Seriously great. Start a match with his heal right off the bat then launch the level 3 and you'll end the match with full life. Hulk is STUPID powerful. I think I'm going to get his Warbound costume and just take him into every fight.
Hulk is strongest! I agree on the Hulk point, its almost OP how powerful he is. I've got him at level 2, and he can crit for over 300! I also picked up Thor and am not very pleased with him, The slowness plus the relatively low damage just plain sucks. I say low though because my agent got pyro v2 flamethrower which chews through people like you wouldn't believe. 4 hits 25+ single target. I love cap, his buff is great he blocks or dodges a lot, and his status effects on his attacks are awesome also. He also seems to crit a lot for me. I have a hard time bringing people into battle when they cant get xp because of low shield points, anyone else have problems doing that?
I've finally jumped aboard the tapjoy bandwagon, but the only problem is that it doesn't usually work. I've downloaded and signed up in apps and didn't get anything. Then I have to email them and end up getting a response and some gold half the time. Ugh. Also, anyone board with the SAME background in all the chapter one fights?!? Couldn't they easily just use a different background for each mission??
Outside of new skills at Levels 2, 6 and 9, does Level by itself actually DO anything? Your overall stats don't increase, you just get more POTENTIAL increases with more ISO slots - and the boosts you get from the early chips hardly seem worth investing any silver in. If all you get is +1 ISO slot at Levels 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12, it doesn't really matter if you can level up or not, other than skills at Levels 6 and 9. (Later on, with more relevant ISO sources, I'm sure it'll play a greater factor.) I'm planning to get a bunch of different characters to Level 6 instead of concentrate on a couple specialists for the time being. With Level 10 (111,250 Silver) / 11 (222,500 Silver) and 12 (337,500 Silver?) breaking the bank, I'll just keep spamming those jet missions to prepare for the future. Of course, if they announce PvP is up and running, all bets are off. But since that took FIVE MONTHS to first show up in the Facebook version, I expect there's still a bit of a "safety net" before that will first go live.
Which mission did you get the flame thrower? I never get lucky when choosing the tiles for the bonus rewards. I always get lame stuff.
That's the weapon you can earn through the Daily Reward. Not sure what the probability is for landing on it, but given how everyone always has a daily chance to hit it, I imagine that will be a frequent item in early PvP. As such, planning around it to have characters or items to reduce the effectiveness of Fire / Ranged / Energy attacks may also be a strategy.
Honestly idc about the pvp. I rather not get pist everday because I lost another pvp. Flamethrower is nice. I got one random on my other account. Funny this acct I don't have enought SHEILD pts to level up and u play it all day with allot coins. My other acct I play once a day and have allot of shield points but not enough coins. Ironic. I have given up on worrying about leveling my guys and just kept playing to level my agent, to get random items, and get all the characters. Hopefully they will keep adding more. I would love to play some random super hero Namor, beta ray bill, or dare I say... Howard the Duck???
Glad this is mobile now. A few tips Dr strange, black cat, and daredevil are three good heroes to get early. Strange has strong attacks and a heal. Cat and DD help you get to the elite boss in 2.3. DD's radar sense can win a battle alone especially vs infiltrators. Use your agent as a buff/bebuff rather than primary damage dealer. Chain blade and the mini gun are great for making your team hit harder. Both increase damage by 25%. Of the 90 cp heroes, hulk and cap are my faves. Get cap to level 9 fast and you won't be sorry.
K... This doesn't make sense to me. The rate of silver you get on the remote ops missions gets lower as you go up in time. That seems backwards to me. I broke the numbers down just because I was curious to know what the fastest way to gain silver was. These numbers are based on a 25% bonus hero. Remote Ops based on Time Selection: 1min = .48 silver/sec 2min = .38 silver/sec 10min = .36 silver/sec 1hr = .17 silver/sec 2hr = .12 silver/sec 6hr = .07 silver/sec 12hr = .04 silver/sec I've been selecting the 6hr and 12hr missions for the past week not really thinking about it in this regard. Now that I look at it like this though I'd be better off doing the 1 or 2 hours missions and just log in every hour or two.
This is just normal in any game. Same with my simpsons or battle nations. The longer it is the less you will get but then again less hassle then. To do it every min. Of course nothing worse then to send them for 10 mins but forget to retrieve them after 24 hrs.
