I'm at the same place and thought the same thing. Have plenty of gold to buy out task 24 and already have Black Panther for 25.
After we finished all the spec ops missions, do we get magik automatically or we have to buy her with cp?
I think you only unlock her for purchase... And I think she costs like 200+ CP... Someone correct me if I am wrong though! Kinda the same way with Psylocke during the PVP tournament (135CP)
Nope you don't have to buy them same for PvP, it's a reward would be bizarre if you still had to buy them. If you don't win them then you can buy them at a much later time, it's rare for spec ops heroes though
I'm at task 25 with only 7. Unstable ISo-8 left. *sigh* looks like maybe 2 or more days left till I'm done unable I get a daily spin or some gold. Funny my other acct which I barley have any heros I get a spin and won 1000 unstable ISo-8..... Er
Thanks for the clarification. The wikia seems to imply purchase but perhaps that is for the Facebook version? In any case i wasn't sure. I know personally that while I didn't unlock Psylocke during the PVP tournament I do not have an option to even buy her so I assumed that the characters would be locked entirely, so it seemed logical to me that that they would still be behind a paywall after unlocking with the way this game seems structured...
You win them at the end on Facebook too. The purchase prices shown on the Wikia are for the far future unlocks. Rest assured, all your hard work will get you Magik for "free" (minus all the gold and cp you spent finishing the 25 tasks!)
You are lucky I'm still on 3 starring all the missions and have had 0 left for the past three days, can only depend on gifts and I won 20 in the spins so far Still should be able to finish in time though its just hard being patient and I need SP badly so I'm stuck.
Started off specops with almost no gold or cps saved and none of the heroes needed. I was buying all the cheap heroes for the pvp bonus, and thought we'd have some downtime, doh! Been tapjoying like crazy, and just managed to get all four of the heroes needed. W/o hitting any big gold or cp bonus (just 1 cp or 1 gold hits from the bosses and dailies). Just from the free 'download and run an app' offers, a few new ones pop up each day. Still haven't done the hulu trial. So don't be too quick to just pay the 25 gold to skip the step, you're going to want those heroes at some point anyways. Doesn't take *that* long to crank out the extra 89 gold. Although I feel kind of like I'm playing 'tapjoy' and not a game. Spec ops is only 1/3 over.
Well there seems no way for me to get her without spending the cash. Even if I did the Hulu thing (I already have a plus account but would throwaway an email to cancel for the gold) I still won't have enough for two of the required heroes to get Magik even with the CP I have. I am trying to play this without spending cash but this stuff keeps pushing my toes to the line. I guess I can finish up for the gear...
If you could get Black Panther all you would really need is 25 gold to bypass mission 24. I would think there'd be enough days to finish the missions if you already have some completed. It would take you longer but accepting the 50 ISO's daily from gifts should get you there or pretty close.

Didn't think of that! I still have time, I am doing the 48hr research with 24hr left and the next string of missions are easily doable (I already 3 stared the first two spec ops missions and most of the next ones are doable without the need of iso). I have 34 good right now and over 60CP so if I play my cards right I can get the extra gold and buy the CP I need for Black Panther... Thanks for the advice! Just when I thought I was out of the running you gave me a plan B!
Chapter 7 is added, chapter 6 is unlocked but says you need chapter five completed. I tried doing a chapter 5 mission, did not work.
Just finished the Special Op! (finally couldn't wait and dropped 15ish gold for uISO-8) I now have every character! Got to get back to leveling everyone to 6 (almost there, but obviously Magik is lvl 1)
