Wow, Spec Ops has totally ruined this game for me. ISO is so hard to get (and alot of the allies on my list besides the guys here...thank u by the way....don't ever return favors). I'm stuck...a whopping 37 ISO and need 80 just to research the fault breaker. Good idea to do these missions but I really feel that the ISO should recharge like regular energy (even PvP energy recharges!). I don't even care to keep grinding missions at this point. And if I'm not mistaken, wasn't the cost in ISO (and its conversion from gold) cheaper on FB and Playdom? Just feeling like they're milking iOS users for any amount of real money they can.....
plus they give FB users tons of free SP and ISO all the time, we don't get anything. I still can't get over the fact that 1 gold is worth 1 SP that's ridiculous
Can you reach your 50 gift limit per day just by accepting ISO8s? If you can then i think you're set. And you followed the guide didn't you? I am also currently doing the fb SO as well and the ISO8 cost for research are about the same iirc there's the 80 cost and there's even the 200 cost which the iOS SO don't have currently. I just feel like the fb one gives us a little more ISO8s because we get some from our daily round visiting allies and enemy drops which doesn't happen here in the iOS ver.
They need to increase the shield points we can get from allies. It's currently 12, it should be 20-24. That would help some. They should also increase the amount of gifts you can receive from 50-60. These 2 changes would go a long way to helping everyone out.
Eh. It's about the same. I get SHIELD points a little slower, but it's exactly the same for uISO-8 as it was in the first 6ish seasons on FB. They didn't give uISO-8 in ally gifts until a later Spec Op.
I think should say this. We have 25 days left in spec ops and people are saying that they won't make it... With 50 iso a day from friends you can get 1,250 iso over the 25 days. My spec ops status 9/25 lost a ton of iso due to crashing at end of battles.
It's the ISO shortage that sucks. I haven't gotten any from daily gifts either, so it's solely down to gifting and returning favors and askin friends for more. I just think there could be more balance (like stated, more gifts per day etc). Maybe they'll hear us...
That's the issue I'm running into...besides us loyal allies here, most of the random FB and GC allies I have either don't ever play (or must not), or accept/return gifts. I wish I could max the 50 ISO per day...part of it was jumping into spec ops without reading up first, at which point I realized I had already burned half my ISO for nothing (since the missions only complete when done in order). That's on me, understandable, just Marvel Entertainment (& Playdom) really set players up for failure with the caveat of just making the mistakes disappear with real money. This is the first freemium that I haven't been disgusted with, until now. I'll keep playing, but there will be some groveling Lol And that sucks on the crashing. That's another issue....I'll stop here
I've got 5 more Spec Ops quests left. I've spent 2 gold on uISO-8 so far. If you follow the guide, you still have plenty of time. I should be done in less than two weeks now.
23 sucks. It takes a bit to get 3 stars on the third mission. But I have the rifle from fighting cyclops. Although the pvp weapon I want is from Emma frost. I hope when I wake up in the morning this makes sense, just got back from the bar with some coworkers.
Holy crap! Black Panther after level 6 is a beast. If the other team has a naked blaster or you have quantum jumper or mfg, he will perform follow ups and counter single attacks by round 2. The buff lasts for 3 rounds. On task 23 in Spec Ops. Going to take a few days to 3 star all 3 missions without a lucky daily spin. Going to buy out 24 with gold and I have BP for 25.
I'm new to the game and definitely wasted ISO when I first found Spec Ops. They really don't let you know how valuable it is! Thanks for the link to the guide as I will see if I can recover (I still also need lots of shield points as my few heroes are all low level). If you want to add me (IGN Xandrak) I gift regularly and can send ISO if you prefer. Does stored ISO vanish at the end of the time limit?
Good question. Yes it does vanish. Each color of uISO-8 is only good for one Spec Op. So when you don't need it anymore, stop accepting it as a gift and go back to SHIELD points. I'll post this again closer to the end.
