Haven't gone PVP with Panther yet, but he's killing it against high-leveled single player fights. Bleed+Exploiting bleed is really working it. Might switch out my Hulk for him and take him for a spin once I get his moves!
I'm 33-3 on my defense with my Spidey and Cap team. It's actually more but that's as far back as I can go on my report. I finally switched my Spidey to a Black Suit Infiltrator after a loss and I've only had one defeat since then. As far as I can remember I think in total I'm about 50-5 for the past week with that team. Edit: .... Wait a second... What if my team is crashing people's games?... Maybe that's why my win/loss ratio is so good... I do have a pretty good team though and probably the beefiest pvp bonus I've seen below Lvl 100. Who knows. Makes me wonder though. Has anyone here attacked me before?
My Black Spidey should be lvl 9 at around 1-2 pm tomorrow and I will probably use him full time on defense then. Unless I get Black Panther to 9 fast, he is pretty awesome.
I need a better defense team should I buy Black Panther or buy the suit for Spidey who I have as level 11 already? or should I hold off...I did all the tapjoy offers I can do for free
I read that Black Panther isn't good on defense because he needs to build up for a couple rounds before he can do decent damage. Apparently the AI doesn't manage that very well. From what I've read he's better suited for PvE.
I just lost 3 times in a row trying to revenge "capkeith"...and got stuck on the load screen for 3 losses in a row. Is that you? Lol....there's some definite issues though. Maybe it IS the combo of the team....I haven't faced a spidey/cap setup since the 1st week....u may b on to something.....
Some thoughts: Black Panther is very cool. However, if your PVP strategy is anything like mine (short & brutal), he's not much use there. His powers are formidable but take several turns to play out. In PVP I try not to stick around for several turns. Speaking of which, I'd like to thank the knowledgeable and gracious folks who frequent this thread and their invaluable advice. I'm not much of a completionist, so if I can hold steady for the Diamond League rewards I'll be thrilled. Going with the aforementioned advice I'm running WWII Tactician Cap and Human Torch, and have had great success there. Besides, I had Psylocke on the FB version, and while she's pretty cool in general, I won't lose much sleep without her on the IOS version. For those of you going for it, I wish you good luck!
Adding "capkeith" to the potential issue with being stuck on the PvP load screen. Played 3 matches just fine and went back to play him, an sticks again for another loss....it hit me for about -40 altogether....
I've lost 60 points today with the loading issue. Taking on people 300-400 ranks below and not connecting sucks. I'm only in gold league but those are a lot of points.
Haha. No that's not me. That stinks though. There's definitely something wrong with some of these people. I hope my account isn't doing it. I have lost matches though.
@JCman7- I would maybe suggest deleting your post. Otherwise others are going to figure out the exploit and abuse it as well. Then things will just be worse. I went to the playdom forums as well and it looks like the moderators deleted the thread.
Ouch. edit - and just as I was about to crack adamantium, I run into another 'cannot load', and then against a rank 700 guy I got a 'cannot sync' after I beat the crap out of him. So a quick -36. I think I've got to settle for top 3% this go around until they fix some of this crap. Or maybe just done with this shovelware altogether, jesus.
So I sent in a support request about a bug and based on their response I don't think Playdom really cares at all about my problem. Here's what I sent them: "I purchased the Quickdraw 40 specifically for the counter attack effect. I purchased it during the 1st pvp season and have been using it since then. I have yet to ever see my agent counter attack using the Quickdraw. This weapon is bugged. Normally I would send in a request for a bug like this but I spent a decent amount of gold on it and I feel it should work properly." Here's what they sent back to me after waiting almost 2 weeks: "Dear Playdom Gamer, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. Because of the number of suggestions we receive we cannot reply to comments personally. While we are always happy to hear from our players, please be aware that it is our policy to not accept unsolicited submissions of any creative material. Playdom Game Services Department" Their response doesn't even make sense... I wasn't trying to give them feedback. I want my stupid weapon to work.
I love that this game is actually fairly deep, as far as making teams, and the more characters they add, the deeper it gets, and if this were a level playing field, trying to make the top .5 percent would be fun. The game is well thought out, but they need to hire a couple guys to check for the bugs. The massive amount of bugs.
I doubt they will fix it for this pvp but maybe for the next one they will. Guess I should've tried harder lasted pvp. Lol Still running good with WWII CAP war hulk and scrap armor. Both guys are level 12. All just getting gold or diamond. You will get better as you level up. My other acct I can't even buy a win until I got cap.
