My great luck on Loki (80 boxes, no dupes) has gone the other direction on Moonstone. 70 boxes, 3 covers. Ugh.
All the stuff on the daily and I have gotten that dumb cane like 6 straight times. :-| Apparently Arcade's move set overrides Mystic? Have been hit with buffs on his first turn every time so far. Gotta say, I really got spoiled by how easy it was to rack up the coinage on Kurse in the previous spec ops. Maybe the game is just mad at me for not playing nearly as much as I used to.
I keep getting Thane's lockbox, he's one of the few characters that I was able to win...go figure. At least that candycane is a decent armory bonus.
So I have 206 CP. Pick one, or two.. Magik Ghost rider Agent venom Spiral Rocket Gamora Squirrel Girl I'm honestly thinking Magik, but I think Gamora could be really good in PVP, but I have only seen her once. I like Rocket for the attack bonus, but I'm starting to thing that armory means 10x more than what character bonus does.
This morning Agent Venom went on sale for 57 gold, if that's something you could swing to make the CP go further. I think I would suggest waiting until the next Spec / Covert Ops to see what is required of you. Magik, Ghost Rider and Squirrel Girl are all scrappers, so their PVP bonus is worthless - no rush there. Same with Spiral and Agent Venom, though Agent Venom is the most likely to be required next. Gamora and Rocket are both good for the bonus, but I don't think they'll be required until they do a Guardians Spec Ops, which won't happen until Groot is available for general recruitment, so you have like, 2 months for them, right? The "best" choice to buy would be Agent Venom, but I'd probably still wait and keep saving, just in case. I've got 290 CP, 140 Gold and don't have Domino or Agent Venom, and I'm waiting.
Nice. Anyone else getting really lucky on spins? I've earned 70+ CP the last week off lockboxes, chapter 4.4, PVP spins and daily spins. I'm about to go ahead and buy Agent Venom
I don't know why they put those in. Grr. Moonstone hits like a truck. Thinking about putting her into PVP a at level two just to see how she does.
I'm 2 covers away from Moostone. I also scored Taskmaster this week when I had 50 gold to spare. I like him, he occasionally gives me fits in PVP
The hero / villain side thing really made this Spec Ops a grind. It was fun though. Good change of pace and the battles were excellent.
Ironically this is the first spec ops in the last three that I have not scored a 1000 Iso8.... Waiting on my 50 ISO everyday, which has slowed my leveling from a shield point perspective.
