I'm going about 25-30% on D right now. Have to give the kids a bath and hopefully I won't lose 100pts while I'm gone. Sitting at 1.3 now.
Finished at 1.32%. I'm about to pull the trigger on a big gold buy and do nothing but stock my armory....that's really all that PVP is about.
Yeah i got vib. Im just waiting for next 2x before i do anything. Ran into a guy with the armor during pvp
The new armor works. However the gun seems to do nothing for me and in pve it doesn't hit for anything. With 3800 bonus....off to the armory lol
Does it work on defense and attack? That's always been the problem. I went out for pizza and played board games with my son and literally forgot about PVP. I realized what time it was with 28 minute left and found my rating dropped from 2.2% to 4.6%. I played one match with an agent with 62k HP, and just shut the game off. It honestly does seem pointless to play PVP at lvl 300.
I'm not sure what defensive maneuver it is supposed to have. But the tactical actions of getting an extra turn on anybody does work.
Its just for an extra move. Makes me wonder if you use it in pvp if that "quick action" becomes a reg action like everyother armor. Those armors are pointless to use in pvp Also agree with andy about the 300lvl... However the last day i ran into 85% reg users. The rest were thw WW or Hack. If your goal is to get vib i guess its possible wothout apending a fortune. Plus the daily spin item has a high bonus also.
I ran a couple of PVP practices matches. It worked perfectly. Basically like a tact agent attacking a blaster regardless of who you hit. Quick actions like neurotrope still work as they should.
What i meant is on def for pvp does the armor mess up? For some reason when the ai runs the armors quick action turns into a reg action.
All of the newest armors are broken. When you are attacking and your AI opponent is using the new armor, when they use the Quick Action armor power, it counts as their turn and is not actually a quick action. So, the question isn't if it works for you - they always do. Have you played against an AI opponent using it, and were they able to use the armor power as a Quick Action?
Alright gang, Latest questions, hoping someone once again takes pity on a noob... PvP: So, I did miserably in PvP, ending up with Silver (which is not actually horrible, as I got a Level 10 upgrade worth of silver out of it... ), and I would like to at least have a shot at Gold League next time. Missions: Still grinding 1:1. Should I try to stretch to the next grinding level? Spec Ops: Haven't attempted any. Should I? I am currently a Level 30 Agent with about 8 beginning heroes, including Storm as the highest cost hero. All heroes are at least Level 9, and most heroes are at least Level 10 atm. I guess what I'm asking is, what should I be focusing on? I'm currently fighting the 1:1 grind and spin battle, but it is SOOO boring. lol Do I have a chance at Gold League soon? How far can I hope to get in Spec Ops as I am? Should I be unlocking Juggs and buying QS to give me a shot at PvP? Thanks so much in advance as always! DBC
Drummerboycroy: PvP: So, I did miserably in PvP Answer: Put things with a high PVP value that you don't need in your PVP armory. Fill it up as much as you can. Remember that you'll never play on the level with people who hack or spend hundreds of dollars on the game. Don't take this the wrong way, but until you've played a lot, have almost every hero at level 12 and have a very high armory, you'll never have a chance at the top league. I'm lvl 300, and my PVP experience is fighting people with literally double my HP. Impossible to win. Again, not an insult, because I say this to myself every season = accept your "place" in PVP and try to be happy with it. Missions: Still grinding 1:1. Should I try to stretch to the next grinding level? Answer: What's the highest mission you've completed? The best grind for CP is 4.4. Otherwise, 11.6 is generally the best to grind, as it gives good CP, has a good epic boss fight and the loot drops are great for your armory at a low level. Overall, just play through all the story missions. Getting 5 stars on a mission gives you 5 CP and one gold, so you'll earn lots of currency as you go. Spec Ops: Haven't attempted any. Should I? Answer: You've lost a lot of time, but you can still start. If you work hard you will be able to finish it. Anything with a timer on it = start right away and play daily. Should I be unlocking Juggs and buying QS to give me a shot at PvP? Answer: Remember that part in Dark Knight when Joker burns the money and says he wants a better class of criminals? Working to get Juggs and QS is like having that pile of money. You should burn it instead and try to be a better agent. There's lots of ways to take the easy way in PVP, but it makes for a boring season and forces everyone to do the same team over and over, which kills the concept of strategy in the game overall and makes it "bad." Try something new. Experiment. Don't just settle into the same basic routine. You weren't for the Hotshot era, but we went probably 4 season in a row with every fight being and agent with Hotshot/Signpost (burning, stun), Captain America and a Phoenix. Every battle, over and over, over and over. It was awful. Be better than what everyone else does.
Wow. What a post. Thank you! Now I know what to do with my 15 Hidden Knives... Oh, and no worries, I don't offend easily, especially when it comes to matters of humility. I realize I'm going to lose a lot, just trying to not lose 19 out of 20 battles... This is all VERY helpful. Thank you! But I keep hearing that I'll need specific heroes to complete it, and I currently have a dearth of heroes, CPs, and Gold? Honestly, I'm not worried about the top 1% as much as at least making it into the Gold league. Sounds like I should stack my armory and keep leveling... I hear that... Thanks again! DBC
If you don't have the right hero, you can skip the task that requires that hero with gold. Or use the gold to buy the CP to buy the hero.
Ok...gotcha. I did face a bruiser who quick action enraged himself and then one shot'ed my entire team. It worked that time and pissed me off. lol
5 days ago. He reboot'ed Sabertooth which gained him enraged, he quick action enraged, then one shot'ed my whole team with the iso8 scattergun.
