The game is back. Almost two full days. I guess I'm lucky that I started a 36 hour training right before... But man, that sucked.
Cosmic Cardinal nerfed big time. Completely useless, worthless and only worth 2 gold for the armoury. Why do they do that to us? They could be a lot fairer considering we were offline for days.
Tapjoy responded to a bunch of tickets I put in way back when it broke. 14 gold came in today, haha. You know, it took a while, but they came through. (spending it all on armory items)
Good to know becase I was pumped when I saw it and then read the description and wondered what all the hype was about. Guess I will continue my campaign for a Helicarrier Sync Disruptor or an Armory Exaggerator. Gotta give the legit players something worthwhile at this point. lol
I use the Cosmic Cardinal on defense. It still is useful as it idiot proofs your agent's ai. Keeping me at 1%, which is better than my last 5 seasons, as I usually hover around 2-3%
Well I was pumped up too but didn't read the description and bought it. Then when I realised I put in a ticket saying it was a dud and Playdom were awesome about it. They refunded 32 gold and let me keep it. If it's good on defense then I've not lost and if it gets un nerfed then I've got it just in case but that was very nice of Playdom. This is an example of someone who is spending serious cash playing this game or is using a gold generator to stock their armory. This guy slaughtered me and I couldn't touch him.
Not to be rude... Thats not bad. Its when they are all red and very small that they super gold hoarder. If i got beat by that guy i would brush it off. Funny right before the fight i see the armory... If my bars are very low i know im going to lose.
Yeah I made a post earlier where I mentioned that it's my gut that some formerly legit players were boosting their stats bc PVP is so broken. It's not completely obvious, but when I can't hit for more than 2k on someone that I strongly outrank from a character standpoint something is amiss in my mind. Maybe I'm wrong or the guy is a wallet warrior....I just got destroyed on that one.
Same here wanted Inv Woman's. I think the 3 days downtime it expired before I could get back in. Real pity. So broken this game.
There are two signs of probable hacking. Check their agent hp. If they're over 40,000 it is possible they have spent a lot of money on armory boosters. Over 50,000 and they for sure have hacked. (I have an armory of 87/85 and my agent is 34,000, with $5 total spent on this game, so it could be possible to get to 40k without hacking... But it'll cost you. But a hacker won't just take it to 40,000 - they'll keep going, logically). Second, the stats at the end. Of they have a very small hero bonus but high stats, they definitely hacked. Also, if they are level 300 and get destroyed with ease, that's when Playdom found out and stripped their account of hacked gains. They can just make themselves 300 and stock up all the heroès. Playdom will erase their armory and perhaps also the heroes, leaving them unable to compete in PVP.
Good post. Thanks. My armory is 90/79. I pretty much dumped all of my weapons into it so that I could get the armor from this PVP.
So how's everyone doing for the end of PVP? Any team combinations doing well for you? I'm running Taskmaster and Thane with a Bruiser agent (scroll, Neurotrope, Coulson's and Dragon's Foot). I get maybe 10% defensive wins, and the competition at lvl300 is brutal. Every day I get to 3% and am back to 10% the next morning.
I'm sitting at 1.1% right now and I satrted the day at 1.6%!!! I'm scared to even play my 5 battles as not to screw anything up! HA HA
