I bet you i spend all my gold trying to get him. Im going to wait for 1-2 covers left and then start buying them with my gold.
I will spend the gold for Sabertooth as he may be a game changer...Constrictor and Electra aren't. I'm tempted to put all of my weapons in the armory but I always wonder if I need them later.
Not sure yet who's best to pair Sabretooth with. Still experimenting. His best skill is berserker so far as he both joins in an attack and also retaliates against a single attack of a team member but not always only about maybe 50-60% of the time which is still good. But he still does one of them a counter or a joint attack maybe 75% of the time so he's helping out with another move quite often if he's buffed. His defense not good against blasters I don't think but he does revive with half health. He level 9 skill I haven't had any luck with yet as just levelled him to 9 today. It doesn't work with a team with cap as cap protects so I wouldn't use it until caps is out of the way. However I haven't yet got a stun from it in PVP but PVE I did manage to stun all 3 opponents. Tried him in PVP with X -23 got killed twice. Tried with Rescue he didn't die but she did and tried with Havok. Havok was the better so far. Might try Juggs later. I left him in defense to see how he goes. The best things about him are his bleeding attacks. I was getting thin on health but my opponents were bleeding so much they just died very quickly.
Beat some really tough teams in PVP. Had two heroes stunned at startup by Hercules and then Scarlet witch threw up her shields but once you get a bleed hit on them they start deteriorating very fast. More like suicide than bleeding. Once SW shields came down I threw the lvl 9 skill at her and she bled to death fast. Sabretooth did get killed once but revived and then also gained some health so yeah he's not bd. I think he's like X-23. She's very dangerous so you need to knock her out quickly. Only problem with Sabretooth is you have to kill him twice.
Try nightcrawler. The best thing for savertooth is to get bloodlust so his 2nd move destroys. When i get him im going to try an agent with scroll and that thing that causes 3 bleed right away. Then maybe crawler.
Worldcitizen has only won 25 PVP matches. That's 20 boxes. To then spend all the gold to get all those covers AND skip timers to level to 9 that quick... That's a massive (and suspicious) amount of gold.
From those 25 PVP matches I luckily got two covers. I got 25 boxes before I used any gold and that bought two covers.The other 6 covers cost me 110 gold. I levelled up manually. I never spent a cent on levelling up. You've only got to play a couple of hours to level up to about 5-6. A day or so after then you can get 7,8,9. But only gold used was to buy covers. Over the weekend was easy to level up.
Get as many covers as you can from daily PVP then it's up to you when you want to use gold. I got a couple of covers from PVP alone so I thought with only 6 to get I would buy. Cost 110 gold. Levelling up cost nothing. Just did it over the weekend. Early level ups are very short. Fought battles to get levels up no gold used at all.
I didn't skip any timers with gold. I fought PVE battles then levelled. The first few level ups have very short wait times. Only when you start going up you have to wait longer. I did a couple of wait times overnight. Woke up and level 8 then level 9 next night.
When I do levelling I try and find a battle that gives around 140 XP then quit and start again to get the 140 again and again. This gives me faster level ups.
I'm up to almost 20 dupe covers on Constrictor...that's 200 gold worth if I bought them and I'm still 1 cover short. I spent a ton to get Juggernaut. I pulled two Sabertooth cover so far on 4 or 5 opens, but based on my experience gold no one gets 1 cover for every two opens. You must be the luckiest guy on this board. Why spend the gold when we still have 16 days of PVP which is 8 opens?
Yes I've been extremely lucky with covers. Never ever had 20 dupes!! To me that's almost unbelievable as I've always had few dupes. My percentage of hits has always been around. 70%. Never ever had 20 or even over 10 dupes. I think the most dupes I can remember having us about 8-9 but not often. Juggs came very cheaply to me. Got hardly any dupes and got him quickly. Turned out to be one of the best heroes I've used. Sabretooth I don't think most will get him without gold. Maybe a very lucky few but I don't want to wait ages so just bought him.
