Lightning Rod? Hmmmmm.... Not so sure. Looks ok but all enemies would be much better. The main thing it's got going for it is it deals damage against flying enemies but many skills do that already. Unless someone can make a case I might pass on this one. Does seem to do a lot of damage though but no counter. With counter would be great. No counter and no area attack makes this weapon very, very limited. It doesn't say what and how long static is applied??
Quick Hero suggestion for a lv.45 character : I'm sitting on 50CP, and wondering what my best choices would be. I'm heavily lacking in Bruisers (just Colussus) and Scrappers (just Dragon Fist), but She-Hulk and Sif look rather bland. I could be saving for Thor or Wolverine, or collect more Blasters such as Dr.Strange, Human Torch or Phoenix, though I'm already levelling Mrs. Marvel, Storm and Havok. Currently using War Machine as Tactician and Sue Storm as Infiltrator.
Dr Strange is a great cheap hero. Phoeenix is two but only if you also get her white crown uniform. Also i like storm too. Hulk and Herc are great bruisers. The thing is ok if you know to use him but not for battles. She-hulk is ok early level because her ability to have 2 moves but as we level up she levels down. Also if you save for capt americas wwii costumer brusier is good too. I used him for last pvp. Could have got ada if i tried hard enough.
If i were you, i'd focus on getting the heroes i'm gonna use for PvP first then worry about getting other heroes for their bonuses. I mean the bonuses aren't gonna help much if you're using sub-par heroes for your pvp team. I think for 48 cp phoenix is a steal. Even without her costume she is leagues above the other heroes. Her AI works well in defense, she bypasses protectors,her main atk is stealth, she can stun, she can revive your team, phoenix fire is awesome, and she costs only 48 cp. So I'd probably get phoenix and while farming CP for another hero to partner phoenix with, i'd level all my current heroes up to 12 starting with of course phoenix and her current partner. Then i'd lv my heroes in blaster>bruiser> tact/scrap(your pref) > infil > gen in that order of priority. Because a lv 12 hero provides the same bonus as 2 heroes under lv 10.
Distress Call So while battling with the Living Monolith mission boss, I had to make a distress call. An ally's Magneto came in and... Recharged. What the hell.
The only time the static charge (from this weapon) would spread to other targets would be in a situation where a hero (storm for instance) uses their attack that would cause the other team to be static charged. Then using the weapon would cause it to chain to all targets on the either team. Kind of like when Storm uses tornado after shroud, and then uses her lightning, which causes static charge for ur team and would allow it to be chained on the other team.
My Havok just hit level 9. Holy... his Channel Energy quick action? Wow. He's unfair! Haha. I'm running him and Phoenix 5 Tactician Emma next PVP season. This is great.
Thanks for that. This weapon has very good PVP attack/defense stats but I wish I could try it out first. Or at least see it in action.
Oh, is that happening? Damn. I gave him all accuracy crystals and my scrapper hero bonus is pretty good, so I thought that'd help with the accuracy problem he has. But if he can't defend, meh. Too bad.
Yeah i remeber going against him and all he did was recharge. Offensive team i can see it, but for defense i dont think so. Plus all the tac suits will just kill him off.
