Is it THAT bad?? I'm starting to feel like the mobile version is being treated like the red-headed step child. We've already been disadvantaged to not getting Command Points in battle, no golden weapons for 5 starring chapters, an because we're (somehow) synced in with Facebook and Playdom players, we're sooo far behind with characters, gadgets.....oh and free heros.....glad I haven't spent a dime on this game becuz it seems like there's an over-arching "we really don't care if you like what we've done or not" vibe going on here.
Idk if that will be the price but wouldn't surprise me. I was just joking. With all you said above which is true... I still loooove this game. I play it until I use all my energy and extra energy everyday. Never played the FB version so to me this is good.
At the very beginning could you sell stuff in the FB version? The cp thing, and golden weapon thing is a whole heaping can of BS.
Not sure about being able to sell things at first. I don't think I was playing for the first couple months. Stuff never sold for all that much, though. But you pick up a lot of junk, and quantity made for a decent price. CP could be gained in battles only early on in the Facebook version. If I remember right (story time), I started playing for about 2 days right after the game came out on Facebook. I was able to gain CP in battles then, but I couldn't figure out how to get SHIELD points, so I gave up. When I came back and actually started playing a couple months later, you could no longer earn CP from battles, only the ways we can earn them now. I think the golden weapon thing was always available, but I'm not even 80% sure about that. I'd go to avengersalliace.wikia.com and look at old patch notes if you actually care. Still, even with it's numerous flaws and money grubbing strategies, I still love the game. There is no other game I enjoy the turn based combat in as much.
Agreed. Don't get me wrong, this game has the same effect on me. I will play until I can't and try to manage time each day so that I use energy properly. Just wish we could have gotten some of the bennies the other versions had. Maybe they'll make it up along the line (not holding my breath).
Surprised they put out another new X-Men infiltrator after Nightcrawler, but I do love Gambit. He is one of my favorites to play as because of his wild card moves. Good stuff. Glad I had 300 CP hoarded.
Is Gambit worth the 90CP? I'm kind of interested but 90 seems like a lot for a hero with one passive ability and no alt costumes. His remove buff technique looks useful and his attacks look like they could do some good damage if you were charged up right. How do the FB players like him?
From what I have read, he won't be great in pvp, and there are other heroes worth having before him. Kinda like that they don't release new UBER pvp heroes every single time. It would push a lot more casual players out of playing since you would have to push as much CP as possible.
Okay, I finally 5-starred all the missions in chapter 1. And I've started chapter 2. And I haven't seen more than ONE out-of-focus background in all my fights. Is there only one background in the entire game?! And how hard would it be to at least put a new background in each chapter and one for PVP?! Is it the same on the Facebook version? How can we get this changed? Has anyone hacked it and added their own backgrounds??
I know this is an older Q from a few pages back. Someone asked what it would take to train a character at level 12. The counter showed 1:36....when it started counting down, it looks like 1 day and 36 hrs, which is really 2 & 1/2 days.....+ 335k silver.....+ 59 SHIELD coins. That's ridiculous in my opinion...... Of course I put him into training before I knew Gambit was out, but doesn't sound like he's all that great. All the forums I've read up on, there's never a mention of Gambit for PvP, and that's all I'm really focusing on now anyway. Hope that helps, for those looking at max leveling of a hero or where to spend CP. ****I know for a fact that Nightcrawler is praised for PvP, but sounds like with his alt costume****
There's no method like with the FB version. You're best to replay missions to 5 stars and get the 5 CP, plus 4 stars will give you 1 gold (so another 2 CP if you cash it in). I'm sure others will reply back with certain missions...there are a few that provide multiple chances at the spin wheel....I believe the mission where Electra is the hidden boss will give you two chance spins, thus increasing your chance to get CP....I can't think of any others but there is at least one more.......anybody?
Post 500! Yeah, basically what was just said, plus use Tapjoy to get more gold to exchange for CP. If you've 5 starred everything, playing 2-3 for the epic boss is your best bet to farm. Did anyone else notice the new interface for Tapjoy in game? Grid style instead of a list. Also, does anyone play this on both iPad and iPhone? If so, does it sync right between devices?
When it first came out I tried to get it to sync between my devices and there was nothing like that. They may have added it in an update, but I'm not going to try to do it at this point, just in case. Since there's no logging in and it really doesn't use Game Center at all I highly doubt it will ever sync.
I don't know about anyone else, but purely for the visuals and all the weird little buffs, Gambit is pretty fun to play with in the single player. I'm leveling him up while grinding out for gear and such and he's cool. If anything else, he looks awesome while attacking and his random assistance is pretty cool.
Saw the new interface for iPad tapjoy. Liking the grid. It never changed for iPhone. As on synce idk it might foot for Facebook. I play 2 did accts one iPad one iPhone. I do that to help upgrade my planes. As for the person posting about backgrounds... Honest I never notice there wasn't a change of background. I do not think that hinders the game at all, but then again different people want different things.
