The slugger has the same problem with "incapacitate" debuff in the fb a few months ago. When it counters since it is in the enemy's turn it goes away immediately and makes them immune to stuns for a whole turn. Hopefully they'll fix this before there are more characters or weapons that does incapacitate.

I thought that might be the case. I haven't seen the Incapacitate actually work once. Unfortunate. It is very weak, so if they can't get it working I wouldn't use this.
Quick question: I'm lv.30, and finally got lucky on PvP Roulette, netting 50CP. Now I'm sitting at about 80 CP (+50 should I spend gold as well), so I'm wondering about my best options. Should I go straight for some major 90CP character (I'm thinking Cap as I only have Cyclops as Tactician), or invest in some mid-tier characters such as Human Torch, Storm and / or War Machine? All of my current characters are all in the 15-23CP range. Thanks in advance!
This is just my opinion, so take it with a full shaker of salt. I'd go with a couple mid-level heroes before looking to the 90CP level. You have to remember, most of the 90CP heroes still need the alt costume to be really effective, so you are looking at 150+CP. I'd lean toward Storm or Phoenix first. I always liked Storm and you need her to get the Epic Boss on 4.4 (which is the best Energy to Epic Boss ratio and has the very useful shield as the drop). Regarding converting gold to CP, a lot of people here are dead set against it but personally I do it all the time. You do want to get Quantum Jumper as soon as possible but other than that don't go too crazy buying gold weapons, at level 30 I was gaining about a level a day, so if that still holds true the weapon will be useless within a month or less.
I would get war machine and farm power of four. http://avengersalliance.wikia.com/wiki/Power_of_Four/Gear It is a drop from chapter 5 mission 6 that war machine is required for. This item lets you control your leveling and for pvp deciding what level you are is 25% of it. This also lets you farm for cp from other chapters with minimum Xp gain.
I know what you mean, and I agree with you. As a beginner, CP come at such a slow rate that spending gold (from missions and level ups) seems like a viable opportunity to collect some heroes.
I mostly agree, though farming missions over and over is viable as well. I've got 225 CP from farming and every hero except Punisher. It can be done without gold. Concentrate on heroes needed to complete missions and don't think too hard about PVP yet. Don't take this as a personal knock, but it is very, very hard to do well at PVP at low levels and without spending lots of money or having all of the heroes. So don't think by getting a good hero and leveling them to 9 you'll be able to get into the high levels of play. Concentrate now on gaining heroes and gear and leveling up and worry about PVP later - when you're level 200+.
Do the first mission with hawkeye. You can farm cp easy there. I also use gold for everything other then shield points and coins. Use tapjoy to get as much gold as you can. Also if you want to wait and get more cp you might be able to get x23 soon. Check the wiki for epic bosses. There you will find out what guys you need to get epic bosses. Depending on what weapon drops you want get the heros you need. In the end... Get all the heros you can.
I was under the same impression - the game is designed so that you gain more benefits from having plenty of heroes, than just a few overpowered ones. As for epic bosses, is it me or they nerfed their farming method? I read that on pc one could get CP by causing critical damage, but that didn't happen at all against Elektra in chapter 2.
I think this was mentioned at least a week ago (well, when SO started), but has anyone found an issue where your allies beat your Living Monolith but no lockboxes were awarded? I sent out the requests yesterday, came back this morning and he's already been beaten (thx guys and gals!), but I didn't receive 10 lock boxes.......and I only have 1 comic book cover to go!
That particular perk never made it into the Mobile version. As I understood, that only worked for a very short time in the facebook version. You can still farm the Epic Bosses because you get the benefit of 2 roulette spins (one for the regular boss and one for the Epic) and the Epic Spin has a higher potential payout. I'm going off memory but I believe regular spins offer the chance of 1CP,3CP and 5PC where Epic spins give you 3CP,5CP and 10CP.
Ya just saw my reward sitting for me. Thanks anyways. Got the lock boxes and yet another duplicate I have been having horrible luck lately with the spins and lock boxes. I am not kidding when I say I must have gotten at least 10 duplicate covers and still waiting for the last original one.

Oh yeah i had something like that during the pvp. Try log all the way out and boot up. If that doesnt work reset your phone.
