Don't spend gold on boxes! Get boxes by helping allies in Group Boss fights, doing the group boss fight yourself (start it up and then wait at LEAST a day before attacking) and doing the Spec Ops missions. Don't spend gold on boxes! I got Magneto last night with 16 days left in Spec Ops and without spending a single gold on a lockbox. You can too! (unless you're in need of just one more cover and there's only 15 minutes left, haha)
Sigh... my long time suspicion is proved... I put a hero on deploy in the SO and after i finished a battle i was going to collect the deploy. Pressed on the icon and before i pressed the open the box button thing, i saw my lockbox went up by 2. So i open the reward box to reveal the 9 squares. And after i chose a random square, true enough it was a 2x lockbox square. I guess not only the roulette is pre-determined before you press the 'spin' button, but the deploy is also determined before you actually choose a square.
And good pvp armory items from chapter 9/10. It's the only thing I do them for now. Gotten 7 armory items.
Yeah that does suck. I always look at my gold and CP right when that screen pops up. Too bad...I wonder how it determines who gets what.
I just have to say, Marvel is ruining my free time right now. Between this and the new runner (Marvel Run Jump Smash), I'm not even getting enough sleep! Lol there were a bunch of haters on the thread for that game, but none of it is true (as I've had extended time to play it) and the crash issue is easily fixed. If anyone was thinking about trying it, it's crack! Alright....back to this game

I never realized that, I assumed you just got the comic. I'll have to check my equipment closer now, maybe I got something good and didn't realize. On a related note, I was doing great on the comics for Magneto, got the first 6 without a dupe but the last two have been a beast. I finished Cry Havoc and the other mini SO (for the lockboxes) which gave me like 60 lockboxes and I only got one new comic. So I've done all tasks and still need the last comic to finish. I guess it's time to grind, oh well, I was hoping to restock some shield points but I guess it's still uISO for me!!!!
The lockboxes can still be bought after this spec ops ends, and they're also rewarded in certain deploys in the next spec ops. Are you sure opening the 10 at one also gets you nine rewards, and not just the one cover?
Grey Suit Black Widow Tactician is the best Infiltrator :-D But no really, her power is that she gets the Infiltrator benefit without the weakness. So you get that counterattack and stealth without getting destroyed by a Scrapper. Plus she's a Tactician so she gets double hits on Blasters. If you actually want a real Infiltrator, White Crown Phoenix is great, Tigra is stupid powerful (but very squishy) and I'm pretty sure Wolverine becomes a murderer with patches later.
Ditto above - I agree on GSBW as well. Of the rest, I will say this. In my PvP matches the past 2 or 3 days, I've noticed WC Phoenix IS NOT using her Phoenix flare after death and rebirth. So, she's really easy to beat against AI right now, which is too bad cuz I've had her in all season. Traditionally though, GSBW tac (not a typo) or WC Phoenix

I love this new runner from Marvel. I loathe people trashing it and gave it 5 stars. It has our dear heroes smashing and shooting all before it. Great variety. Terrific runner.
OH YEAH PSYLOCKE. She's fantastic. I ran a pure melee team for a while with Grey Suit Black Widow (Tac) and Psylocke, with my agent wearing fist weapons and Momentum Generator, and I spent a few days at 0.2% without trying THAT hard. It was wonderful. I plan on going back to that team when I get this latest PVP weapon, which is very good with melee fighters.
Just won 10 lock boxes and decided to unlock 1 by 1 and won Cosmic Flame and Arc Reactor Charge as well as 10 CP so two parts of the Avx set!! I already have the soul fire blade so only need Phoenix Flare to complete the set. I also got a cover duplicate. Looks like I hit the jackpot with that lot of 10. Justice is done in the end with my 4 PVP 5th match win crashes losing all 4 spins!! I like Justice!! Lol.
